He explained that if the numbers exceed, he will charge by per point but he think it should be enough. This quote also do not include points relocation like cable TV point, phone line etc. Switches and installation of lights are included. Additionally, I have asked for the following items: 1. To supply and install 05 veener doors with lockset and magnetic stopper 2. To supply and install a set of powder coated slidling windows for the yard 3. To supply and install powder coated window grilles for the 03 bedrooms,study, living and dining hall,kitchen and yard Others To design & fabricate King size bedframe with storage He mentioned this will cost me 43K which I'm trying to keep it to 40K by reducing some items. The issue I have is that this ID do not have the practice of putting itemised amount. He has his own reasons for that. Which HT system are you considering and what is your budget? The price range for HT systems is very wide I suppose...the latst Yamaha YSP-4100 is very chio but super expensive and it does not come with DVD player

erm..seldom doesn't mean never...i mean occasionally I may still watch DVDs.. Main intention is to have a neat TV console as I intend to hang the LCD TV and soundbar on the wall. BTW, how much is the elac speakers and monitor audio you mentioned? Any reference site that you can show me? I'm not into audiophile so not very familiar with audio stuffs... Thanks vicenzo

Just my thoughts, I intend to design the TV console perpendicular to my wall which is on the left. On the right is my proposed study room. I know the cinematic effect of 5.1/7.1 but I seldom play DVDs or audios CDs which is why I just wanna have a simple soundbar system. My current house is using 1st generation of sony 5.1 system since year 2000 and it is still working..haha..wires is an ugly sight and rear speakers stand have been removed ever since I have kids..frankly speaking..my ears can't tell the difference between 8 bit , 16 bit or 24 bit music...no offence though i agree soundbars are not cheap..

I bought my Sealy mattress on last Christmas during the promotion at Robinson Centrepoint. I use Robinson card for rebates and interest free instalment. My Sealy model is Prague King size...original price is abt $3800 but they selling at discounts at $2010 on that day. Actually I din thot of buying that night because my hse is not ready yet. What impresses me is the Salesman professionalism & service (can't remb his name). He told me that I can defer the delivery 6mths ~ 1year and call when my house is ready. If the price goes down in future, they will also adjust down the price..if goes up, they will lock in at $2010.

Yamaha has came out with a latest SoundBar model YSP-4100 (to match 40inch TVs) & YSP-5100 (to match 50inch TVs). I know soundbar can fully replace actual 5.1 or 7.1 system but I really can't live with wire clutters everywhere... Thought of the following soundbar system in order of preference 1. Samsung (bulky) I understand its best suited for bedroom and not living room because the sound needs to bounce off walls to have that simulated 5.1 or 7.1 effect. To be honest, I'm quite impressed by his presentation as he is not like those typical sales person and not pushy at all.
