hi samantha & micah4, thanks for the advise. The idea of side latch surfaced today when I highlighted this to my ID. Did you position your side latch at the bottom of the door so it's least visible and locked it everyday at night? Most probably i will do that...LOL... oinkoink

yamaha soundbar is overpriced in my opinion...i got the philips soundbar instead...btw later someone will post u a reply and condemn soundbar then he will recommend you surrond sound amplifier....u just watch this space..trust me..

Hi micah4, yes i know...it can be done if your tiles are flat but problem is my tiles at the foyer is of pebble design so i cannot be drill on an uneven surface..somehow it will crack or get chipped offf......was wondering if there are other workarounds... oinkoink

Hi all, Can I ask how many of the forummers here drill holes for the gate and main door bottom latch after laying the tiles? Is it safe if the bottom latch is not drilled because my tiles comes with pattern and will crack or chip if the worker drill a hole to latch the door. Thanks~! oinkoink

Hi khengjoo, I just went to dig up my files where I kept the krono brochures 10yrs ago and YES, we are using Krono STEP laminates i still have the 10yrs warranty paper that was faxed to me by the supplier but i do not have the exact name..i only got the fax header from EME Tel 68467625. Anyway, I have recently sold this house to a couple and they asked if they can get a replacment piece just in case the old one is damaged due to wear and tear. hi khengjoo, I think I used krono steps for my laminates 10 yrs ago for my entire house which I just sold recently..so far so good but u must maintain it well and keep it dry always...warranty is 10yrs i supposed but still looks good. cheers ~! oinkoink

Hi all, I re-lay my front tiles at the gate and the original holes for the bottom latch has been covered up. Just like to check with anyone who has the same situation with me, do you leave it as it is or you drill a hole onto the new tiles. Will it crack because my tiles comes with pebble patterns. I'm more concerned on security issue if I only latch the top gate but not the bottom one though I will lock my gate at night. Thanks~! oinkoink

yeah consider v generous..my ID gave me the 3D after commencement of reno work...the colors n furniture also not actual but based on his idea...anyway agar agar can liao...most imp is the actual and final layout is what u wan...3D is just to showcase to yr frens n family...LOL...

Hi all, apart from XZQT which sells nice oval shaped tables that cost a whopping $6K plus...have you come across any furnishing shops that sell oval shape dining tables? My fs suggest round or oval tables insetad of rectangular ones..sigh oinkoink
