  15. Hi all. I took up Alex's offer also. WPC tinted sliding windows with WPC grills for my EA at Wdl Ave 5. Good workmanship and good attitude. Very poilite person to deal with. My windows grill yet to be install, waiting for my first coat of paint. Can refer to my T-blog on my reno for the window pictures.
  16. Hi all Found out that the wall on top of the door are hollow type. Previously should be those ventilation type and previous owner sealed it with partition. After discusion with Michael, its not wise to replace with concrete type as it involve hacking away the door frame which in turn may damage the newly floor tile and cost increment. Best way is to insist on the air con guy to use a stronger wooden board to hold. No pictures for today. Everywhere is dirty. Hope to update u all with more cleaner pic. Stay tune.. cheers
  17. Thanks for the quick response on the feedback. Guess i am more confident of mounting the air con on top of the wall instead. cheers
  18. Hi all Just like to ask 1 question. Does mounting air con on top of the room door, does it post any type of hindrance or problem? Any advantages or disadvantages? Feedback are most welcome..
  19. Hi all Tiling still in progress. Hopefully can finish tiling by this week. Today also decided on MBR wardrobe. Total 2 WIW, (1 x 5ft and 1 x 5.5ft). Initial plan was to combine into a L-shape or together but due to space constraint. Stay tune then Tiling extended to walkway Intersection between living area and kitchen Kitchen tiling, yet to clean up..

  21. Hi all Today progress, mainly foyer partition wall fully erected. Tiling for living area started. More touch up here and there. Pictures speak a thousand words.... Entrance to kitchen Entrance to walkway from kitchen Study room Tiling **** room
  22. Hi infinitie, as for my concrete wall at the foyer was quoted $450 (Supply & construct 6ft full height 63mm hollow block wall at foyer c/w cement finish) As for carpentry , it may include laminates, maybe more expensive. What done is done, just enjoy what we have....
  23. Hi infinitie The paritition wall is roughly 12ft away from the main entrance, so it not that near anyway. Main motive is to have privacy within the living room but the air flow will not be so directly. I did not consider carpentry in the first place and my FSM highly recommended a concrete wall so we go ahead with his idea. But i think it will not have much differences anyway. In term of cost wise, maybe a little more. 6 more weeks to go..Till now still satisfy with the progress...stay tune
  24. Hi all Today went to recee for ceiling fan at balestier. Came across a designer brand is Alpha, model is Ferrari. Retail price is $540 before discount. Anyone install this before? regards
  25. Hi infinitie Yes you are right. The concrete wall is to build for FS issue. Nothing serious tho but it will served as several advantages afterall. As a backing for my future altar, to segment foyer/dinning/living. Now thinking whether to put a painting facing the wall or wallpaper or wall sticker. So many thing to consider....any good ideas? regards
