hi guys, i saw a similar promo at Best Denki, its Onkyo 607 together with Onkyo speakers @ $1539. not really sure on Onkyo speakers coz nve really hear ppl mentionin it b4 and...the speakers are kinda light when i lifted them...any idea?

hahaha, bro, gd one la ! frankly, i find the amt he asking is big high...due to the age and.....juz went to see...audio wise, still ok..but the rear right speaker no sound currently he using Panasonic AE-PT200 PJ, and if i buy, need to change buld. what u sayin makes sense...maybe i'll have to implement in phases due to our budget... goin down to KEC@adelphi to see see look look....heard from frns and saw in forum tat their reputation not bad...not the pushy kind and paitient... thanks man !

yo ... deepakvali - looks like u got big budget huh wahahhaa tink im goin to be awe when i see ur lastest set up ! juz did the sums wif my fiance and tink we dun have tat muc budget liao all of these add up, will cost a lot man... on the brighter side, the owner is nice enuff and has offered to sell us his current set up. its not too bad i tink, bcoz currently his wiring are inside false ceiling and nicely done up. Central ctrl from the livin rm with pipe in audio to kitchen and MBR toilet (speakers in ceilin). items he sellin me are : items incl. - 5 x satellite speakers from Garrard OT USA, 1 x 100w Roberston woofer, 1 x Pionner Receiver, 1 x DVD player, 1 x Panasonic projector (need to change buld), 1 x motorised projector screen. all of these goin for $1600. i tink the price is alright...wat say u guys? any advice for greeny here?

halo crystal535, im in seach of electrical appliances for my new plc and also lookin at samsung fridge. my fiancee and i looking at samsung's RS21HNEPN...went to HN and was quoted $1799 + $200 NTUC voucher. will go ard asking for quotes and see if can get better deal... maybe SITEX will have a gd deal ? hahaah

Elfettucine, deepakvali ! thank you both for the info and prompt reply i went to Parisilk today and enquire on projectors and the guy told me that NEC is a good buy? is it? din ask him for the model thou but he quoted me ard $2k. i have heard ppl reccomending infocus, but then again...not sure on wic model to get. maybe i need to make a trip to adelphi to look ard and learn a bit. Elfe - saw ur wish list of gettin a infocus projector...is it a gd one? and u mention that i might need one with higher lumus, how much sld it be ? deepakvali - ur set up looks cool !~ yap, if a screen can help, i dun mind getting a better screen, but again...how muc will it cost me? hope im not taking too muc of ur time thanks again !~~

halo there ! ive juz bgt a flat with my fiance in the northeast fortunately, the flat is nicely done up and the seller is using a projector as his TV in his living room. All the wirings, brackets for the projector and the screen has aldy been done up so......my fiance and i have sort of decided to retain the idea of using a projector in the living rm. any experts here can advice us on what brands / model to get ? any projectors owners here, care to share ur experience with us ? SITEX coming liao...hope they got gd deal there....

This is my 1st post here...been reading this forum for sometime and gain quite a handful of info Been flat hunting (5rm) with my partner for the past 1 mth in hougang area but...as we all noe, the asking COV is way too high and the condition of the flat does not justify the COV ! So...we expanded our search to Sengkang and punggol, like the flats there beta coz they are newer and the condition is also beta. But still...high COV, at least 30k ah...how to afford? Lookin forward for 3Q's housing data and its finally out ! hmmm....read thru them and not sure how will these help me or folks out there. HDB price index increased by 3.6% as compared to the previous quater, further...looking at the line graph, this quater is highest in many many years. However, the median resale price for a 5rm is @ $390k and the median COV is only @ $10k. its puzzling how these data differs to what is happenin in the mkt, where sellers are asking for sky high prices, in particular, high COV. i am juz wonder if these data will help ease the sentiments in the current mkt, and will these data be enuff to tell sellers and buyers out there that the trend is not what they tink it is...most importantly to those "not serious" sellers that are out to test the mkt. Will these data help ? anyone care to share?
