AA/Rebuild Corner Terrance
airman replied to confucius87's topic in Landed & Condo Private Properties Renovation Discussion
Hi! Mind asking a) Land size, b) Built-up area, c) building cost My contractor charges me 2.8m for land size of 5300 sq ft with built-up area of 7,500 sq ft for a 3.5 storey corner terrace. I have to pay for the kitchen cabinet and walk-in wardrobe for 5 rooms, own sanitary fittings, own VRV aircon, tiles for carporch and roof terraces. Do you think this is reasonable? Thanks -

Residential Hydraulic Lift
airman replied to nuart's topic in Landed & Condo Private Properties Renovation Discussion
Hydraulic lift is fast becoming a thing of the past as now home lifts are equipped with pulleys and motors. Hydraulic lift is dependent on hydraulic fluid which must be changed every few years and not to mention the snail speed as compared to conventional lift. -
You can try Wellux at 6564-6568 and look for Sharon.

Hi! Anyone have any contacts to get Novabell Tiles at cheaper than market price? Understand that these Novabell tiles do not come cheap and they have the feel and look of timber flooring. Thanks

Hi! I purchased a 99 leasehold bungalow with balance of 67 years and plan to tear it down and build a pair of semi-detached houses. The land area is about 8,800 sq ft. My questions are: a) Is it worthwhile to spend $1.5 million to build a pair of semi-detached houses that is about 3.5 storey high? Is $1.5 million too high a price? b) What is the chance of getting approval to top up the lease to 99 years? What is the cost involved? c) Is it better to remain as bungalow or convert to a pair of semi-detached houses? Any advice or information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
