No intends to insult or to push anything, just to share what I knew, learnt and experienced. I've read quite some FS books but all in chinese, difficult to express the toughts here. One has to understand some fundamentals, like yi yang, 5 elements, star configuarations, etc before proceeding to deeper theories. I read ancient chinese medicine book, palm/face reading book, Books on geography/ building structure, technologies, climate changes, hi/lo tide, moon movement, etc All these link to FS. My brother is a TCM, he also like to read these. To reveal myself a bit more, I'm 46, travelled around more than 20 countries. One thing, after acquired these knowledges make me more firmly believed the saying: " 30% destined, 70% depends on "hardwork"".

FS knowledges & skills are used to make/change physical environment to suit(turn favouable towards) ones'. Some use to make more peace, health, wealth and some for power. Suit ones may not suit others. Many "hears & says" do not fall under FS, or rather is Taoyism which seeks way & means to have "ever lasting body". - Old theories in ancient time's one-storey-only buildings can not exactly be applied onto nowadays' situations. Yes, sleeping under beam is no good then. Why? once the house collasps, the most heavier object - beam will press onto ppl. If ppl sleep "elsewhere" and house collasp ppl have higher chance of survival as compare to hose "sleeping under the beam". -You are actually under "pyschological pressure"- like many others. Mindset is the key.

Legs pointing toward door is better than legs pointing toward mirror, right?. If got such mirror, today might not dead, tmr or next will sure scare to death if u half way wakeup whether day or night. Just to share. When young in Kunpong, I kena bite twice, chased by dogs many times, including on bicycle. I did keep dogs. If now whatever dogs chase me, I 'll make sure they "fly".

Yr case is a very typical real & practical case when both buyer & seller have their own agents, and especially the unit is "hot". If and only if you are really interested, only specking directly to seller will help. I encountered this at Bedok South , 20 fl, pt blk, seaview, one night, light rain @7.30pm, COV=40K. Both side enaged agents, another viewer also with agent was there. I offered COV20K, then later increased to 25K. Seller agent said "no chance". I left my wife on the spot, back home fetched my mom-in-law to have here view, already@9.30pm. She liked it very much, I offered cov to 30k, still "no chance". We left. My in law spoke to seller directly on many issues... Next day afternoon went for a site survey near the blk to see sunlight issue, called my agent & visited her mom (another blk, unit same orientation, 19 fl)to "test" the heat - one side of wall face west. Quite acceptable. Asked my agent to close the case at cov=40K. In returned, was told by my agent that the seller agent had told her that the seller had increased COV to 60K. I said to my agent: "ask them go & die" wash my hand off.

Asoon, well said! Spirits exist everywhere. Everywhere also got ppl dies irregardless of race/religion. Why scare abt "dead ppl", "live ppl" are most scary who keep convincing ppl to worry abt "dead ppl" while $ come to their pocket. Open your eye, use yr brain to think/process/reasoning, can alway "hear" but subject to believing. Hospital every minute got ppl dies, so cannot stay there?

I once complained to condo manager abt one owner having more than 3 dogs, I took pictures & video of the dogs and wrote a letter to Agri-Food & Veterinary with this owner's adress, of course with my address attached as well. I wrote the letter out of condo manager's effect (talk to owner) did not work. After that letter, left 2 dogs. One occasion, near security post, this owner's small dog unleashed, run toward my daughter and I wanted to kick fly that but that little run away, I talked to the owner asked him leash his dog in public, no more next chance. His act of leaving dog unleashed in public places is laible to be fined for $5,000 by AVA. Golden Retriver worse still, need to be leashed & muzzled before appearing in the public places. Failing which u will pay & 5,000 if some one report to AVA with evidence. HP with camera is very common now, do not take chance. Be a responsible pet owner. To be frank, many pet owners do not know what they are doing. I even asked owners carrying pets in arm to get out of the hawker center. I have the AVA phone in my HP. If they argued I would take picture immediately and call up AVA. Likely the CM will ask u to give up the dog within a certain time frame, if u fail, then he will report to AVA.

Doing school survey? Happy to give some input: 1. 1st HDB 5-rm - 29, limited money to do reno, just married then. 2. Condo - 41, spent 24k on reno+ electrical stuff+furniture+carpentry 3. Use your brain (think/knowledge & reasoning), science(physical proof/experience), past experience/encounter, psychological effect, social norm(society pressure)etc, while making judgement/decisions. I used that mirror, sometime adjust clothing, comb hair, and practice my speech! - My previous unit had a 8ft x 6 ft mirror at hall, looked bright & spacious, why not? - "Arrows" could be any "angles" whether from walls or capentries. These are unavoidable, try to minimise as these could pose potentail danger to physical body, especially the young ones. - PPl asked me why I have the 1.8 m dinning table - simple reason -"heavy & stable enough", so soup in bowl will not spill off when accidentally hit the table. Spacious table make eater feel comfortable, eat "slow slow" and communicate to each other! This is important, nowadays. - I have a L-shaped walk-in wardrobe in MBR, segregate the bed set from the tiolet. Not believing "foul smell from tiolet- no good to body theory" theory, but due to space contraint. - I insisted to stay above 20 floor. Now in 23 floor, can view mountains & water. - I'm particular in air-flow because S'pore's climate is such that: sept-feb: N+NE wind, mar-aug: S+SE wind: ensure having window (one end opp the other end) face these directions, so natural air ventilate within house & feel "shiok".

You should discuss with how these trunkings are run before actual installation, don't u? Or now regret? How does the drain pipe go to tiolet's floor trap? Must sure, gravitational force work for liquid to flow.

Dun have overall fl plan, can't give u exact advise, but do consider the following: 1. Hacking cost =$1/psf. Rebuild wall = $2.5/psf. "red wood" door fram" = $350/per pc 2. Door should be "swing in" to MBR. 3. Walk-in wardwrode is a good idea. 4. In term of FS and scientific, tiolet should be well ventilated. Access to tiolet should be free from blockage. 5. Dress table envoirnment should be bright & well ventilated, best close to window. 6. Will the "new relocated" door obstruct any airflow? 7. Most neglected in HDB unit is airflow issue, ie: Sept-Feb = N + NE wind, Mar-Aug = S +SE wind. Best windows & doors cater for wind to flow from one window to another window, but not short-circulating flow!
