My permit was really fast, my ID applied for the approval last week and it takes about 3 - 4 working days to get through, and just yesterday morning started hacking works. Is becos you are hacking some walls down?

Yeah.. not only that.. the smell really very terrible initially. Due to the previous owner who rares 2 dogs and if i am not wrong the dogs actually pee on the Parquet floor in the bedrooms... so you can imagine the dogs odor + urine smell in the whole flat... very jia lat. Best of all is that when the seller handled over the flat to us.. he shut all the windows. So after the 2nd appointment at HDB, we went down to check through everything... first thing when we open the main door.... WOW.. powerful smell surrounded us.... we almost can't breathe. hahaha. My wife and i also can't wait to see our revamp home.... really extreme makeover. Today they started hacking the whole house. By Saturday all hacking must be completed.

Tiles Selected As you can see, these are my colour scheme for my new makeover. Homogenious tile for my living room and all the bedrooms. White Glossy tiles for my kitchen wall. Wall Tile - "White Glossy with Horizontal Lines" for my toilet. Floor Tile - "Grey Cement Finishing" for my kitchen flooring.

Yah.... I thought i was messy enough, and i always kanna nag by my WIFI....hahaa. Then when i saw their condition then i know i wasn't that bad after all.... lol. I must really make adjustments to my bad habits of keeping things, and throw away things that i do not want.. If not.. a lot of rubbish & dusts collected and my WIFI will not let me off, especially when new house is revamp.... NO MORE BAD HABITS!

Yes and No also. The previous owner stays there too, but all the other rooms are rented out. I really take my hat off him actually, how did he manage to live in such a condition without cleaning??? hahaha

We paid for 315k below valuation. Actually we wanted to slash more.. but seller say last price. So considering during that time when we bought it, COV are going higher and higher. Really thank God for His blessing, even though a bad condition flat, at least we manage to get a flat.

These mosaic tiles... also need to remove... not our style. Curtain Pole also need to remove. Security Alarm.... hmm... interesting Ceiling Fan... also going to fly.... Look at the Dust!

Kitchen Toilet Can you see it??? Yucks! Sewage Pipe.... Really very smelly! Leakage, we got to replace a brand NEW pipe.... Lights need to replace.... Basically everything you can see in this flat... got to be revamp! Utility Room Luckily the Utility Room still can be save... Misc Items Dirty Wall tiles.. need to be taken down.... alot of cracked ones too...

Kitchen The condition of the kitchen is really very bad too... cabinet really gone case! Seeing is believing! hahaha...

MasterBedroom Toilet Look at how dirty it is... like many many years didnt clean... Can you guys live in such a condition? It's only 7 years after the toilet have been upgraded with new tiles, and can u imagine 7 years can collect so much dirt. Wow... Leakage at the top of the ceiling... haiz...

After much consideration and discussion with my wifi, We decided to engage Baroque as our contractor to give a brand new look to our flat. Here are new pictures after the previous owner have cleared their barang barang and finally is empty. But is really OLD, DIRTY & SMELLY.... hahaa... too bad you guys can only see.. cannot smell it... its really terrible. Living Room More photos to come...

stick those IKEA mirror or transparent notice board like those u have in your study room? The gap in between the mirror maybe can try silicon gel/ glue so water can't slip in. I do watched b4 some renovation video where ppl stick wall tiles themself maybe can do some research on that? Or Fomica (forgot it spelling oops) rdgs, wifi
