Actually what is the worst thing that can happen to the sink? Rust and scratches? The sink at my current hm, have been using for 20 yrs but seems fine other than scratches.

I saw one which is 490mm, single bowl at SSC. 2 bowls too big for my kitchen liao. I saw ur blog that u bought urs at Heritage together with sanitary wares. Maybe I should really go Heritage. Cos I am intending to get a round sink. Then I saw the IKEA round sink is only $39. The one I intending to buy is $200+. And the best part is, the round sink at IKEA is out of stock. Thinking is it any gd, if not how come out of stock.

Yup, separate one. A proper one. Took care of everything for us, from liaising with the resort to flower decor to cake delivery to musicians rehearsal, etc. So, we didn't need to seek friends to help out. She has her own assistants to handle everything. We only need our siblings to 'see' to the angbao box only.

Not a easy job for sure. Cos wedding planner need lots of 'lobangs' like where to get this or that, etc. I still remember the wedding planner I engaged, very nice lady. And the best part is she managed to get a very decent 4 figure discount for my wedding banquet because the portion and decor for my individually plated food are not as per the food tasting session. Hahah. And the money saved means more money for honeymoon last yr. Hee.

Haha, no la. Hmm, my wedding was at Amara Sanctuary Resort at Sentosa. Solemnisation was done 'outdoor' but the location is built permanently by the resort to conduct solemnsation or such event. There is a big bell for u to ring after u are declared husband and wife. In general, we wanted to do it at a resort but not many want to fly overseas so only choice is at Sentosa. Yup, we had a wedding lunch. Decor is english type at the ballroom. Hmm, maybe I put the link to the pics in facebook if anyone want to see see.

If waterproofing is done, u should receive a waterproofing report from your contractor/ID which is acknowledged/signed by your neighbours living below u that there is no water leaking.

I think our parents are just easy going and probably becos they don't really keep in touch with our relatives so doesn't matter invite them or not. And wedding is our big day, so left everything to us to plan. And we didn't do the fetch the bride, etc, also. Basically, our wedding was a more english type than the chinese type.

Said maybe we can keep unless on site alteration make it harder to keep the tiles for the main living hall. And yeah, now cannot keep, have to spend some money to change it. Anyway, see how it goes. I see u all have so much story to tell. My story more simple. Wifey have been staying with me for yrs before we got married. No prob with her parents and my parents. All open-minded. If you see my floorplan, we got no balcony. ID 'created' one for us. And we thought by tiling it up, it is more garden-like which suit the theme. And we are tiling our floor for this area, thought by as well tile the walls also. But ID thought of another way to create garden-like and cheaper. But I don't think cheaper by alot also.

Will go and see the real thing. Need to see whether we can 'improvise' the look if we use this. Anyway, don't know got budget or not.

For the whole area, abt $5k plus to change all the tiles assuming I use $3 psf. $1.50 for sand and cement. $6k include hacking. Problem is $6k also exp. Don't willing to spend that money. Abt half the area also need $2k plus. Have to see how lor. Will have to go choose tile tomolo. If we still drag our feet, reno don't know when finish. Many uncles and aunties all want to see "hao peng you". Not even scare to go graveyard in the middle of the nite. Hahah. All they want is 4D and TOTO numbers from "hao peng you".

Wedding is once in a lifetime. I think maybe spend more money in pre-wedding photos. Cos not many chances common folks like us are taking professional photography. Banquet more for show.

For my case now, we have to select a particular tile for our main living hall. Wanted to use a particular tile for our main living hall but ID said if we use such a tile, the other mini living room will look 'cheap'. He used the word is "CHEAP" le. It is true though. Hai. We keeping the initial HDB tile for this area becos beyond budget to change the tiles for both areas unless choose a cheaper tiles. Headache. And many things haven't buy yet. Also not a regular supporter, but sometimes buy hoping to stike TOTO!!! eh, I remember u can see those 'thingy', why never ask for 4D. Hee.
