There were many options but sian liao, like that the hm don't know when can be ready. Initially we wanted a bright living room. Then halfway we wanted a dark dark living hall for the ambience. Now by selected a white tile, we are reverting back to initial plan. So fickle-minded are we. Lol.

Hi Joseeng, covelight is consider a indirect light source. Therefore, it will not really brighten up the area, more for asthetic purpose. So downlights are still a must. But I admit numbers of downlights are abit on the high side. But as Cat said, it will be a L-Box instead, so I reckon 3 or 4 downlights at the area eventually. Should be fine then.

Hehe. Nice drawings! Base on the drawing, is that the finalised colors for the living room, cabinets, etc? Personally feel should introduce abit more colors into the hm. And u have a decent display cabinet! I sent my ID back to the drawing board cos I need a bigger display cabinet/area. I agree. But when we shop for the practical stuff, we should buy items that compliment or matches the theme of the house. Like white towels in the toilet suit most toilet themes rather than colored towels. The standard rule is not too much contrast colors in the same space. I think IKEA catalogue is a gd example for inspiration. Usually they have many practical items in their kitchen pics for example.
