look like the one IKEA has. hee. it looks nice but not very sure such lightings is suitable for resort-like. Reno mates, what do u think?

Why not, do a headboard with cushion.

i think not very ex by now - from 2007 to 2009. i think i still saw it selling at balestier. For ceiling lights, my opinion is to select those which u won't see the shape of the bulbs or fluorescent tubes when they are lighted up. These types of lighting won't give u a cosy feel or nice ambience. Examples: Like the one which u like above, it is a gd example of a gd selected lighting. Just my 2cts.

u don't really need a hood. it really boils down to your own cooking habits. if u are only doing light cooking, then don't need. if u have a steam oven, u can use it to steam anything. u can use a normal oven to bake rather than deep fry chicken wings for example. u can cook a lot of stuffs just by using oven alone.

yup. 1.9m is the length of the mattress - head to toe. hard to describe, i believe u understand what i mean.

i would say nice and decent. base on the 3d drawings, the kitchen cabinet will be white and wood-like laminates. i cannot be sure but base on the few catalog on laminates i seen, there are not many glossy wood-like laminates. other reno mates can shed some lights on this too? are u intending to us glossy white laminates + non-glossy wood-like laminates? i seen one such combi real life but the effect is not very nice. i admit common toilet looks out of scale but in any case, toilets look quite bare wih onlu the necessities install. so u need to 'touch up' on it to bring out the resort feel if u are going for it - eg.pebbles, candle holder, etc. i remember u want somethin cosy. does resort-feel constitute cosy to u? overall, i feel this design is very 'homely', but albeit less modern. this is cosy and subtle to me. reminds me of something which i seen - http://loydpek.blogspot.com/2007/03/latest...west-st-93.html. i think this design is similar to what johnny propose for u. lastly, must ask urself is this what u really what u want. our opinion doesn't matter that much so long as this design theme is what u are going for.

Queen size mattress should be 1.5m x 1.9m. King size is 1.8m x 1.9m.
