On closer look, it looks more grey than black after adjusting my monitor. Whether u paint or not, still need to clean la.

For my case, after on-site measurement and confirmation, the carpentry was delivered to house for assembly in abt 1 wk plus (11 days from confirmation, inclusive of wkend). A lot of projects are rushing at the moment, so I think there will be some delay I believe.

Orr.. talking abt oven, last wk Mayer called me that the oven model which they were suppose to deliver to me last sat had some problem. they asked whether we like to change to similar model but a better one at a nominal price - $50. The actual difference in price is $200. I can't find the model in any of their showrooms - was at jurong pt and asked the guy to call their other branches whether they have it on display or not. Eventually, I told them to deliver first. If we like the model design, we take it. If not, they take it back. And we took it cos I think it is really a better one. We just wanted a entry-lvl oven. So we bought the Ariston FZ62 previously. Now we got the Ariston F73C. Hee.

Yup, something like that. Strings are gd way to secure it. Best if the strings can be hidden after tying it. Or if the color of the strings are closer to the bench color will be gd. Are u using ur dining table for other purpose? As in like u might surf net using laptop at the dining table? If u are not, I think we don't usually spend too much time in the dining table after than eating. We probably finish eating before the seats get warm. So cushion not really necessary.

Have to take care. Was at ID's design house yesterday. His new kitchen is also black solid surface. And yes, it is already scratched and very visible.

Guess many really like the swarov@lite. Oh, regarding our feature walls for both our living halls, the design has been confirmed! And if the price is right (hopefully), I will post the drawings up! Hee. On a side note, we had many discussions with Loyd throughout our reno and every discussion is a few hrs. It is always nice to chat to him on designs and many other stuffs. .

No la. No la. I cannot draw. I am not painter like New new la. Muahahaha. But to draw a round face + round body + 2 dots for the eyes + few curves for the nose/mouth/ear should not be a problem. Small children can draw. I think u and me can draw something like that too. Lol.

Happy New Year! U are referring to cushion to sit on it? Personally, I think cushion is not necessary. Functional wise, I think if u want to have cushion, it is gd if u can secure it to the bench. cos bench surfaces are quite smooth and fabrics for cushion are also quite smooth. If u sit on the cushion without securing it, u get the 'slippery' feeling. I don't really know what words to use to descrbe the 'slippery' feeling. But hope u know what I mean, like u will 'slide' down from the bench becos the cushion is too smooth.
