so far.. hvnt notice any unevenness on the glossy laminates leh.. and we were quite thorough in looking for defects (saw a lot inside the drawers though but not on the laminates outside) does it matter wat brand of laminates is used? think ours is lamitak or edl.. will go take pics of the laminates under light for u.. gimme a few days k.. thanks for ur kind compliments. how is the progress at ur place going? eh... hvnt leh.. borrowed a fren's car recently cos moving stuff but now returned, so a bit hard to go to those ulu places cos we dont hv a car.. maybe check out next week bah by cab..

was unpacking n hubby found a lava lamp projector thingy(still in packaging) in his mountain of stuff... apparently he bought it like 8yrs ago.. now need 2 more of these n can start a club..

heh.. ya maybe like once a month for a more detailed cleaning... planning to do tt too...

i kaypoh tis window frame paint thingy can... i also wanna paint cos windows frames has a lot of stains thats very hard to remove.. but hubby say if paint over might scratch easily leh.. must show him ur post !! wat glossy paint did u use ha?

ya i have long list too.. tt day in ikea spent abt $200.. on just small items n lots of hangers.. must match wor... luckily a fren of mine gv us ikea vouchers so saved some money there.. i also want part-time maid !!

my mattres is Sophistication.. quite comfortable.. when hubby turns in his slp, cant really feel..

haa.. trustworthy = expensive .. like bosch or electrolux WM.. but i do think thats it is important to get trustworthy stuff so wont chances of breaking down is smaller (?) especially for electrical items... but doesnt hv to be the highest end of "trustworthiness" (which is wat my hubby wud like, eg. the miele WM n dryer..) cos i cant afford it..

ya man if not will be like me... i moved in on 23rd dec, so actually celebrated christmas in my dreams cos was so tired from unpacking n cleaning, was asleep by 11pm..

wah... coffee, u very nice leh.. give away exp fridge like tt.. my hubby is the one who wanna buy all de branded stuff for the kitchen lor(and for everything else actually...) i am the one who faint... lol and we seldom cook hor, but kitchen has the most expensive stuff.. i hvnt even touch my cooker yet except to clean it.. feimei, ya very smart of u guys not to move everything at one go, cos i see all the boxes n the amount of unpacking, i very de sianz.. but do slowly lor.. most of the boxes is actually hubby's stuff though so he has to sort it out himself plus i still need to get a shoe cabinet.. was looking from ikea.. cos now shoes no place to put, all still in boxes..
