Do you think you can accept and live with this? With flash. No flash. is it possible to put like a T-bar at the joints? maybe it wont be as obvious... cos for my laminated flooring there's t-bar to join the laminated floor n tiles.. not sure if it works for parquet?

thanks bluewater.. do make sure ur study/gaming table has solid backing if its gonna be as long as mine.. cos mine was built on gypsum board (cos under windows is actually recess area which we boxed up) and it was kinda bent down in the middle so that's why ours has a support in the middle, so it wont bend..also think my ID mentioned its reinforced with some metal parts... i bought my leifheit mop/bucket set from robinson's sale (goin on til end dec). its $288 there (u.p. is $334). i needed it immediately cos need to do major mopping session. but if u can wait, u can get from hogarmas online.. they sell the same set for $168.. will get other stuff from tt site later on.. its quite good cos can cover big area in one swipe.. http://www.hogarmas.com/php/php-Cleaning-1.php

thanks CJ, the metal part of the window panels are quite dirty actually. previous owner prob did not clean them since they got the flat 15yrs ago.. a lot of stains.. the cleaning svc i hired spent more than 2hours on windows alone.. need to get down n dirty to clean panels myself slowly but not quite sure wat to use though.. bought something from home-fix for it yesterday but hvnt had time to do it yet.. now house filled with boxes waiting to be unpacked.. heh.. headache leh.. hate moving..

hmmmm... cleaning svc vacuum 3 times n mopped twice.. but still feel sandy..think hv to mop a few more times... also the gym room is only cement screed now (waiting to buy the rubber mats b4 equipment), its the most dusty place..anyone any idea how to get rid of all these dust effectively..? especially from the cement screed..

Our HG ... haven't unpack before I took the photo ooooo.. hansgrohe! nice... hey i still hvnt go by the comfortfurniture yet.. wanted to go on tues ard 6.30pm, so called them up 1st but they say closing soon (their website say closes at 8pm lor..) went by sun ard 7plus, also closed d.. hubby commented they dun seem to wanna do biz..

we also engaged ecoverve to do some cleaning for us in the morning cos the ppl ID got to do the washing for us jz sucks.. and after they clean, movers will move our stuff into house in the afternoon.. hubby finishing up his packing right now.. cant believe he has more stuff than me.. hubby planning to get this leifheit mopping system.. seems impressive, a bit expensive though.. but robinson's having a promo for it currently.. anyone used it b4?

AND last but not least for this early morning.. my "feature wall" !! !! !! !! !! hubby said the exposed cement is quite artistic wor !! !! !! !! actually was cos the whole area started 'popping up' as previous owner sealed up entrance there, did rock stone surface, then after we plastered over it n painted, think it was too heavy so whole area started to pop up.. (wall was too smooth when they 1st sealed up the entrance..., according to the plaster guy) better now than later i guess.. so now, already peeled off watever that can come off, re-plaster and waiting for it to dry b4 re-paint...

other furniture delivered... sofa from OM n plasma tv bed frame from OM n mattress on the right from serta (plus the freebies that came along wif the mattress purchase) a/c.. dining lights from vlux.. (middle bulb not working, replacement on the way..)

next my WIW! study which is in same room..

been at new place whole day waiting for delivery of furniture n for ID's sub-cons to do touch-ups. and also my floor ppl to redo sealant on skirtings.. now for some photos.. kitchen solid top all up! everything white white.. and the new washer & dryer! not stacking them up cos hubby dun wan them to block sunlight..

niceeeeee.... kuan yin is my godmother.. although i dun really pray...

i didnt hv a chance to chk out hows the quality cos when i got there the place was closed... only did window shopping. i went to the one in beach road. prob try to go down again in the next couple of days.. will let u know k..
