How To Clean Grout Between Homogenous Tiles?
Skywire replied to his.beloved.child's topic in Home Maintenance & Repairs
We had the same problem with the grout between our homo tiles. What we did was go to a DIY shop and bought the grout cleaner. It really works and after that we applied the grout sealer to make sure it stays clean for a longer period -
If it's not mentioned in Adrian's quote, chances are they are not included but just confirm with him to be sure. For mine, it's was not included. Alternatively, you can get the anti-slams from IKEA. Of cos they are not of fantastic quality but it does the job for me....... Most importantly, it's not expensive!!!!

Hi Sara, Haha...now i found you!!! Adrian told me that the visitors like our designs too. Well he also told me that about the comment regarding the cabinet design in my mom's room...haha Me and my wife purposely created the living room feature wall so as to create a "fake alley with high ceiling" from the main door to the rooms and painted that area very dark in color. Regarding that shoe cabinet cum HHS, we copied the design from Adrian showroom and did some modification to the design. Wife and I were so tired the last two days as we were on our knees cleaning the grout lines and putting sealer on it..... 95% of our furniture came in today so here are some pics......

Hi Sara, Our renovation with CJ ambience is almost coming to an end. Now balance only couple of outstanding jobs. Target to finish by coming Monday!!! Sorry I didn’t have time to post more pics earlier as I didn’t expect that I will so busy with the renovation. Anyway I will try to post more picks of my completed house next week. So far my experience with Adrian & Lewis has been pretty good. Minor hiccups here and there but then again I’m sure every renovation sure experienced problems (regardless small or big) and we are no exception. Most importantly those all issues have been addressed by Adrian. I shall be posting more details about my renovation next week after it's finally done and over..... Btw, I heard from Adrian that he brought this customer to our place in BP around last week.....wondering whether this customer is a fan of renotalk forum too.....

Hi Rebecca, Just to share our renovation process, likewise during the start of our search for ID/contractor, we also asked for kind folks to share with their quotations but honestly it only serves as a guide and nothing else. I think it got us confused even more! Reason is because the kind of designs/materials/dimension etc that you chose will greatly impact price. Thus even though we do have some of the quotations from other people, it didn't do much help to us unless we really want to do exactly the same (same design/same material). I think it's really best that you contact Adrian or any other IDs to discuss your budget and design. From there, it will be a better comparison for the same design/patterns/material. Hope this helps.......

Hi All, After months and months of discussion with Adrian (due to long wait of the 2nd appointment from HDB), our renovation finally started on 19th Feb 2010!!!!!! Below are links to photos taken on the 1st and 2nd day of renovation http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0054.jpg http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0056.jpg http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0060.jpg http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0061.jpg http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0063.jpg http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0064.jpg http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0080.jpg http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0070.jpg http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0086.jpg http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0077.jpg http://s1023.photobucket.com/albums/af355/...nt=IMG_0090.jpg

Hi, Read that alot of ppl asked for Vincent's contacts. So any reviews about him - services and quality of curtains/blinds? Thanks....

i think your ID is trying to smoke you. Quoting a kitchen without base is almost the same as quoting a cupboard without shelfs! And 7000 is really quite ex. What is the total foot length of the quoted kitchen cabinet? How much is your ID charging per foot length?

Hi, I'm thinking of getting the fan in JB too. May i know whom did you get to install your fan and how much are the charges? Thanks in advance!

I went to Tampoi Lighting center today and saw that they sell Clipsal switches as well. Managed to capture some of the prices here 1G1W - RM44 2G1W - RM 66 1G2W - RM 50 2G2W - RM 72 13A Socket - RM 47 15A Socket - Rm 55 I think i managed to see that they are the E3000 Series type Anybody know whether the prices above are cheaper in Singapore? Also, they also sell another type of switches call "Simtone". I must say they look very good and they are 20-30% cheaper than Clipsal.Anybody bought or using "Simtone" switches? Any feedback? This is their website www.simtone.com.my
