    Roller Blinds

hey guys, I am looking for roller blind that has a width of 2.2m to 2.4m, any idea how much would it cost? I need good fabric that's meant for projector screen one. any idea? I dun mind to pay high price for the right material that suit me. Saw rollite has this new fabric called silverscreen.....i'm wondering how much would it cost.
  2. thanks! will drop by there to take a look which one is similar to the one in harvey norman? the 1st or 2nd?
  3. We went to IKEA and talked to the contractor, the curtain are not that expensive, and the tracks, for the bent one, are just $7/ft. When we went to Laura Ashley, the curtain can be as expensive as $100+/ft and the tracks are $18/ft?! yes, the material quality is better, but why is there such a HUGE DIFFERENCE?! what is the right price for good quality tracks and curtains?
  4. anybody has any idea which factory actually OEM for Laura Ashley?
  5. just a customized thing for my own regarding fengshui, it's not meant for everybody one....I'm thinking along the LED solution....
  6. We saw their UK website having some great promotion. 1 of the bedframe called ALICE METAL BED is actually 50% off, unlike the Taka one having just 5% off. Original price is 500 pounds. We tried the Sommerset Bedframe at Taka, the one display in their showroom corner is not very stable, and there is this "yikoh yikoh" metal sound, but the one putting up on 5% off sales near the atrium is very solid. This is how the sommerset metal bedframe look like: The design is very nice for sure, but to put aside SGD$1500 just for a metal bedframe sounds a bit crazy huh? That's why the 225 pounds Alice Metal Bed caught out attention. Does anybody using any similar bedframe? is it durable? I actually move the mattress and see the supporting area. It has 2 big piece of frame with big and small steel crossing to support the whole mattress. or is there any alternative available locally?
  7. may not be best, but you paid mostly for the brand itself. but brand does guaranttee quality to certain extend......but u know lah, anything can also happen these days.....so, why pay more?
  8. We are thinking of buying a nice stained glass lamp for our dining area. Saw a few shops along Balestier area and the price ranges from $185 all the way to $500.....wow.....that's really expensive for a dining lamp. Any idea which lighting shops got sell such product at good price?
  9. it's the most powerful Logitech 5.1 digital speakers set now, after Z680, about $600+ out for quite sometime liao. but you have to note that this speakers set only comes with 1 optical input, you may need to buy an optical switch to accept multiple optical in.
  10. relaying of electrical point is needed for sure...but since that whole area will have a brand new door panel, the electrical point can be concealed
  11. that depends on what kind of projector they are using. I'm using a 720p front projector TV, this is how clear it can reach for full ambient lights on, on a pink wall somemore(will be much clearer if it's a matte white wall): source is 1080p quick time, this is only VGA output, if I were to use HDMI, it will be even better, the picture size is 100" that's probably one of the best results I see from some other people, under dark room condition: 96" special coated screen. and u know what? Sony's new SXRD is very clear, sharp and BIG.......plasma and LCD also can't beat it. Go Sony Gallery to see it yourself
  12. I saw Marina Square the KingKoil showroom has a leather sofa, quite nice looking, but no price one, is it also from KingKoil?
  13. er.....LED on Victorian theme ? what would be quite challenging for my designer haha.... but hey, i just have an idea, just 1 small little LED would do the job man....which is not so obvious.....
  14. yo MaCe, can share some pictures? I can't seem to find them from the internet leh.....kamsia !! your suggestion seems very interesting!
  15. er....this red lamp is going to be right above the door leh, how to use those lamps you guys suggesting hoh.....
  16. there is nothing much to debate about. Kronotex and Power Dekor are focusing on different range of products. Kronotex is AC4, and higher end more sophisticated range of laminate flooring (very close to timber or parque, can't remember what they call it liao), therefore, the price is more expensive, can be more expensive than marble. Power Dekor are focusing on the AC3 market, which Kronotex is not even into. You shall compare it with Supreme which is also in the AC3 market. The quality is much better than Supreme. be more practical, get something that suit what you're staying, dun be up-sold by the salesperson. It's not worth the money IMHO. But if you have the money to burn, feel free to buy anything !!
  17. the G550W is a relatively weak speakers compared to both G550 and Z5500. Go compare the specs yourself from creative website and logitech website !! With that kind of price, it's not worth it. Suggest you get Z5500 with wireless adapter for rear speakers.
  18. nope, algebra is only available in secondary school if i'm not wrong.... come on, the purpose of that exercise is not to find the best way to solve problem, it's to train their brain to think lah. that's the basic foundation.
  19. yup, that's what I recalled too. you might find it stupid but, that's the way to train when they are not ready for algebra yet.
  20. I plan to use one of my living hall walls as a 100"-104" projector screen (will be using some special mix or matte gray paint) but I think the default wall fresh from HDB is not flat enough. Is there a way to measure the flatness of the wall and how to make it flat?
  21. i think Z5500 is better, better look too. from Logitech, once banned in SG as it's too powerful haha.....$600+ or lower can get.
  22. Power Dekor is the brand name, Asia Dekor is the company name in Singapore. We haven't installed, but I heard a lot of commercial projects are using theirs, supposed to be more durable?! eg, Courts' showrooms etc?
