hey..how was the delivery? mine is scheduled for the 24th of jan. reno has been smooth until the end stage. sigh..we discovered white patches on our black kitchen tiles. initially thought it was paint..so we called our contractor and he sent down the painter to come and clean it but to no avail. contractor will go down tomorrow to see what it is and what can be done. i feel so disheartened.. our shower screen and glass mbr toilet door was supposed to be delivered on thursday..it came but it couldn't be fixed cos they had measured the sizes wrongly! so again they will have to redo it and these items will come by next saturday. i don't mind so much abt the shower screen and mbr glass door. it's just the kitchen tiles! i don't think i'll be able to live with the faint white patches.

yep, ive decided on the items already. initially wanted to get the items delivered this week too but cos of delayed reno..have to push back the date of delivery. Angel says must deliver before feb..so im looking at mid jan or the week after. anyway, happy new year! may the year ahead be filled with joy and cheer

oh u didn't get the package? initially i didn't want to get the package as well but angel told me that i could change up to two items from the package. if there's something else in the store that i like, i can switch..just need to top up the price difference if any..

i bought quite a number of things.. cos they had a package deal (sofa, dining table, TV console and coffee table). and then the next time we came down to pay a deposit..we decided to get a full-length mirror and bed frame + mattress. hehe. yeah our scheduled delivery is first week of january too. keeping my fingers crossed that it goes smoothly

Hi Seashell, I got my furniture from Rustica and was served by Angel as well! She is a nice person and what u said about the no blackface is true! I went there twice and only decided to put the deposit on the 3rd visit. When I went a couple of weeks ago, they had a package promotion..dining table, coffee table, TV console and sofa. When are you getting your sofa delivered? I hope the after sales service is just as good.

I got mine from Harvey Norman at Millenia Walk. I don't have the receipt with me at the moment..can't check the model but I only paid $1160 for it. Will check and then update u..

I wanted to get this too..but when I went back yesterday evening, it is now $1599 From what the salesperson told me, it's actually a model which is being discontinued so they want to clear stock..and so that explains the heavy price cut. Was introduced to a new Bosch model which wasn't on display yet..bought it for $1160.

Hi, I've been looking around for hobs and ovens. Seen tecno hobs but from what I've experienced at parents' place..the hob isn't very good. Saw a 3-burner Electrolux hob at Harvey Norman..any input? I can't decide between Bosch/Brandt/Electrolux for the oven.. Any comments?

hey all thanks for the warm welcome! momo, our 2nd appointment is very close. I will get my keys on 9th nov. We only want to start reno in mid dec cos we're only moving into our new place in feb after our solemnisation. will hopefully start my t-blog when we start selecting tiles come end nov. stay tuned!

Have signed with henry last night! met him for 3 hours..go through our first quotation..discuss and add/remove some stuff and then work with him for 2nd quotation. very excited to start the reno!

how long did u guys have to wait for a quote from henry? met him last week (29 oct) but have yet to get the quote frm him. getting anxious..hehe..esp since banking on him to give a good quotation..
