hihi.. thanks for your kind words.. yea.. i think we kinda went overboard with the fittings... cos while shopping for them ,we keep chanting 'we are going to be living in there for a LONG time..... ' lol the chanting makes the prices looks cheap then... thats till we tabulate it all together...O.o oh how our wallet cried after.. oh well... we ARE going to live in there for a long time rite? yea... we got lucky... most of our color choices came along nicely...

Thats good news for you... at least 1 major decision is done... yea.. surely will be camping your blog to see it unfold... Regarding the wc.. i would think that it greatly depends on your theme.... for us .. if it goes with our theme we would pay up of it.. 1 question though.. if u have a black wc don't your sink have to be black too? i have never play around with black fittings theme for our toilet so can't really give you any view on it..

Hihi.. thank you... hob was from the research thru the forum... i think quite a number of peeps are using this too... have yet to cook anything on it...so have to reserve some praise for it.. Yes the dispenser is fitted to the sink... but u have to pay extra for it (of cos rite? ) , they will drill the hole for it... so u can just screw it on.. Well.. we have been using everjoint for ages and the savings from the from purchasing from them can be pretty substantial... but maybe we are just lazy lol.. went to those big electronics stores... browse and note down the model and price.. ring everjoint up and compare.. some are hundreds cheaper some are just tens cheaper... we just go ahead and order from him... so at least we only have 1 contact to deal with.. TV wise.. no... its a LCD model. LED 50 up prices is too much for our budget... but the Picture quality sure is nice.. now i believe LED price have come down even farther with the introduction of 3D...

well.. good things come for those that wait... ain't it ? nah... not flattery , just the truth.. ... so far.. how long has it been since u started? 3 months?

Hi there! personally... we feel its worth every cent for it.. its really comfortable... initially, we fear that we will be spending too much for a sofa, as we comes from a no sofa setup at our current place.. but after sitting it in ... its all well spend.. thanks for your kind words!

lol.. black things... black eye? haha.. kidding.. yea... we were worried that the floor will turn out too dark... thank goodness it turn out good .. yea... even with us visiting the house only during weekends... we are beginning to have the feeling of 'returning home' ... Oh... adah... update on the fans... its windy at high but never like those KDK strong... , i would say the rate which our spin at high, is like a kdk mid ... but u do get a decent breeze from it...

Hihi... we got lucky again.. the orginal theme for the MBR toilet was those granite Slade looking tiles... but the nice chap from harfary recommended the brownish tiles to us... we got a look at the mock up and fell in love with it... and luckily the white groves and the white sink,wc matches the tiles... Thanks for your kind words... thats what we are targeting.. simple and timeless... and yes... we will be putting up curtains and blinds.. only the living room will have curtains... we will put up the pics when they arrive..

Hey hey... thanks thanks! our plan is to stay here for a long term period... thus.. we agree to spend more for quality fittings... .. to be honest... we were worried that the dark flooring would not appear good in real life... thank goodness, it turn out good..

Our song cho dish rack... love the thickness of the stainless steel.. the city gas dryer.. have yet to try it... hopefully it will be good.. the reason for having this is due to the fact that our kitchen is so small that we dont have space to hang the 'teako' lol ... a review of our common toilet.. mostly same furnishing with different tile theme ... The joven water storage that we got it from everjoint... have tried it yet.. Our kitchen floor tiles ... after acid washing the grove lines looks really clean.. ok.. so that concludes week 8-9 for us... hopeful by next week.. the glass works will be up... stay tune!

LOL... imagine that Studio Tangs store it for us till now... oh the price was 2400... mattress + frame + 4 pillows and 2 mattress protector.. It was during a tang sale.. Our MBR lights... from lightings.com.sg.. like the bird nest look.. Our MBR toilet ... with everything up.. lights.. our song cho furnishing...vent fan... wc .. etc... here is a shot of the Mirror cabinet from heritage .. was pretty worry that it will be damage due to the fact that it was delivered early and was laying around with all the jobs happening ... guess we got lucky.. Hi everyone... due to the fact that nothing much was happening during week 8 ... we decide to combine week 8 and week 9 into a single up date.... for week 8 is generally cleaning , installing the toiletries etc.... But for week 9.. all our purchases started to arrived... woot... and they look great! Neff talk .. will let the pictures do its talking.. WEEK 8-9 Our Electronic Door lock! The model is Gateman (yale) V100 . We got it from a contact from the forum.. (Desmond@98307788) Price wise we paid about 600+ The installer was pretty competent.. Installed the lock in no time... The locks uses tag cards (like the MRT ones) or the keypad for entry.... was enjoying playing with it.. A Shot of the back of the lock... Due the fact that the lock can auto lock when it detect that the door is close... we decide to spurge on a door closer... It one was supplied by Henry.. Pretty smooth closing action... No more slamming doors for us! A Shot taken from standing on a chair lol... The granite top for the kitchen is in... loving it... also its show an overview of our black tiled floor... loving that too!

So true!!! starting phase was like a flash..... everyday u can see things being done... .. i think we are at the stage that we just want to get the reno over and done with... very tired running here and there , running errands for the new place... PUB, Phone line/internet,parking,change of address.... lol.. like cannot finish...

hehe.. its been a bz week for us... Reno wise .. nothing really major happens.. just all the small stuffs like our song cho hangers and stuffs... this will will have more things to see... our sofa , tv , beds ... coming in... so we figure that it will be more interesting taking them together...
