I am using one ele heater and both switches at common and mbr bath can turn on or off them. check with ur electrician.

There is after sales service . Just that he's taking his own sweet time. My ID came to my place to see and it's has been almost a month and he had not given me a replacement of sort. The reply is "will get back to me" My glass is 10cmm i believe. I asked a shop i know in my area and it cost almost $600. I called the shop w/o any exact measurement so it was a rough guide.

Hi all I moved in to my new place a year or so ago. I believe it still consider new. One day My shower glass door has shattered for no reason. My id told me it's no longer under warranty. Where could i find ppl to replace it any recco? TIA

nothing much this round as i am afraid i will be more confuse when i listen to more. I dun wanna get poisoned and end up not buying anything in the end. I planed to get it done early last year and didn't managed to. Last time i listed to (b&W,dali Ikon, mythos Dt Ma and Wharfedale) but this round i am set to getting one of the MA as I am getting sick and tired of reading researching and so on. (call me lazy but this thing is really much tougher than making a choice for pc/tv/ laptop and so on) What I did was: read abt the MA set and set out auditioning it. I am not getting the Bi-polar rear instead getting a tiny Radius 90HD as I do not have much space and wall for it. (My living room area is connected to the dinning area) I have difficulty placing the speaker due to my choice and arrangement of the tv console and stuff. (regret not deciding on the HTS b4 I had the tv console made.) Thanks for the reply RB.

I am using Hansgrohe RainShower (overhead type)in my mbr toilet. I use it with a storage heater. The water flow is strong and yet the rain drops r soft and dun have the "sting" feeling when shower. It's really shoik! But i believe I am using more water cos of that shower system. I have another raindance handshower in common room however has very weak water flow.

Hi all, I would like u guys to comment on Monitor audio Rx 6, LCR and RXw 12 as sub for HTS choice. I am happy with the center especially. Just wondering if I should get a book shelf of a higher series and replace Rxw12 to something else. I am willing to spend 4 k or a little more for the set up without the amp as i already own one. I 've checked with the agent for SVS and they currently do not have stock for SVS bp12+(which would be a bit over my budget) I have no idea what other sub to get as much of those mentioned in the other forum do not have a local agent. I am totally new to this and my untrained ears could not help much while i am at the shop. your reply and comment is greatly appreciated.

Hi could i check how much is 1910 and 2310? I was thinking of getting the kef3005 but my uncle (my main sponsor for the system) thinks it looks kiddy. Any one out there could recommend me a system budget around 2.5- 3k or a bit more .. My uncle is asking me to buy BOSE lifestyle 18 which cost around 3.5k. He just likes it neat/sleek design and easy or virtually nothing to set up. he loves denon amp but he doesn't know which speakers to go with. I need to convince him not to get the bose for me. Pls give me some advice and recommendation.

Can't agree more. I would rather pay a bit more for a peace of mind on the work. but sadly for my case i couldn't get the aircon else where in such a short time. I was to install my aircon first before my carpentry are up. :furious: For my case,the issue is finally over however I have not use my aircon yet. so will have to wait till later to see if there is anything wrong. Thanks goodness the company made amendment.

Thanks for your concern Paraman,n lucky that u had some honest people handling your case. I opened up my trunking (part of it) and i saw on the insulation pipe it says " kiaflex or kaiflex" class 0 something something... The 2 pcs of joined insulation look wired cos they are not the same size. One of them obviousely thicker and larger while the rest of it is thin. this is what caught my attention in the first place. I told the guy who came to check that this was not what i am expecting. He told me he would sent a the installation guy to fix it. To open up the trunking and change what i dun like. But the problem is how do i make sure they are doing the thing right? They could "accidently" doing somethig wrong without me knowing. This compay just broke the basic " turst" relationship we have as seller and buyer. I wonder how many of us could be there watching them to install. The whole process is not short we do have other obligations too. It's qiuite sad. I hope they could resolve the problem with no hidden "evil intentions".

Hi I am glad that your air-con is well installed, but that is not the case for me. I only use this company cos i can't find the aircon i wanted else where. Everywhere told me they do not have stock for starmax sys 4, but the company is able to supply and install for me. The price i got was $3699. I have to say it's cheaper compare for the quote i got frm GC and many others. During the sale process it's really a pain to deal with the sale person. No matter what my case is complex so i shall not mention abt the dealing part. My aircon was installed yesterday. I have confirmed with the sale lady many times that the insulation they used is Class 1 armarflex. However I found out that it is not only today. They ended late yesterday and it was too dark for me to check the air-con compressor which is in my service balcony. I however paid them the whole lump sum. When i went down to my house this morning to check the compressor area the insulation are badly joined up. they tapped different part together.,one of them looked thick and have the word " armarflex" the part is not a whole piece but joined up. when i called to check with the aircon man he said the length is not so long and they need to "connect" it. I then opened up the white box to check and saw that the inner part of the insulation are of different brand and thickness. I called the sale person and she said she would get back to me. When she did , i was told that they have different 1/2 inch insulation. My question was "how could a half inch be different?" as least not in the measurement. I am not trying to bad mouth the company but i am just stating out what is happing to my side. If any one would like to check it out u could pm me and come down to see it for yourself. For those who are waiting for the air-con to be installed please do make sure that they used the material they promise they would use. I would like to ask any expert here is it normal that the black insulation thing are joined up? Are the insulation suppose to be uniform in thickness through out ? pardom my misspelled :(

I am not sure if ur is an Old hdb with expose back boxes.. I was told by my electrician they are very cheap "the white/huge box" only 30 cent or so .. if i dun remember wrongly he installed those for me free. My electrician was intro by one of the forummer here " one lao jiao" My id said his electrician very cheap already and so on but still i could get a cheaper one else where .. so pls find second or third opinion if you find his EX. hey I went to the tpy shop u intro .. i find that the price is much cheaper than the one my Id brought me at Balestier Road. And i found out that her shop was just beside my block last time b4 she moved to current block. I actually bought from her too when she was near my block. lolx " so qiao" I bought almost everything from her even the hood. My house hood is an expensive one but then i think it's too old already so i decide to change a new one .. she just got another happy customer haha .. thanks for your intro .

Thanks for your info. In fact I've seen a lot of HDB flats with 2 compressors I ask abt if it is legal or not cos my electrician told me it's is not. My previous owner actually has 1+1 and 3+1 installed in the house .. but i saw tat they cut away one of the aircon when i took over (only left the fan coil hanging in there) One of the aircon co i met actually measure my living room and suggested me how much btu i need. He was the only one who did it so i am quite impress other just roughly say this and that much .. but pricing wise i am not sure which is good .. Pls do pass me your contact.. thanks

My living room is quite big .. so i think the system 4 is not enough. But i was told that 2 compressor is not legal and if i were to sell the unit i have to cut it off if the HDB want me to. So i'm lost which to choose 2 compressor or one sys 4. System 4 inverter would easily set me back by 4k one other single unit is a lot cost saving for me ( i already have sys 3 left by previous owner) . Any one could advice me? My block has improved electrical. thanks thanks
