Instant Water Heater Or Drum Heater
ngunadi replied to kelvintan81's topic in Electronics & Electricals
It's because you are using 2-way switch for your heater. The one posted might not have 2-way switch. -
You mean last night? They closed already. Usually they are also close on monday ... Yeah, it's the Furniture HQ. I didn't pay anything. not very comfortable in their deadline to immediately pay the deposit by that day. Then I have cooling period, etc. etc. Very hard sell tactic.

Wow ... I love the blum and the sink. They are nice !!

Initially, we want to this furniture shop near AMK Courts. Saw 1 sofa, very nice but super expensive. Half-leather is $2999. The fella immediately give $600 off if we immediately put deposit of 40% of 2499. It seems a hard sell from them. I wrote down the item code to check with S&C but they are already closed. I guess I will try tomorrow.

Cool ... I demand photos once they are done

I only know the Ez Lift one ... let me google the Home Niche one. Which one is cheaper ah?
-
Hehe ... cool I assume you are using Citygas for your hob. So, usually under the slim drawer hob is used for the connection of the gas pipes and also part of the hob that sink in. You might not be able to use it as a drawer. I can take picture of what I have if you want ... If you have no big plates, then it's ok. But for me, I have 1 plate which is very big (to serve the dish) and I can not put it in dish drainer

Actually i'm apprehensive about this one. Because when you put your clothes out, your clothes might be blown by wind and drop. I happened to stay in rental condo that has this system before. The hanger would be push out facing the inner part of the block. My clothes dropped to the lower floor so many times until I lost some clothes because I can't remember which one dropped. Of course, you can always use a pincer to make sure it won't drop but again it's so troublesome. What if you hang your clothes in the morning, push it out and went for work then it rain in the afternoon? For me, I would try to persuade my wife to install the EZ Lift

1. Where would be your drawer to store your utensils? 2. I think the height of your built-in oven should be taller. Since this is a draft, i think Edmund will know. 3. Should request the dish drainer space to be taller. So, it can cater for the big/tall plates in the drainer.

The bad habits of journalism. Shaping the quotes to suit their topic. I agree, 25k COV is very high not the NORM. We were lucky to pay "just" 23k for our COV. But I still think it's so expensive. I think 10k is still a reasonable amount. Anything after 25k is silly. Might as well rent a flat. At least that's what I think.

PM me with your email if you want a word version of a tenancy agreement to SUBLET 1 ROOM.

Bad Tenant
ngunadi replied to raincole's topic in Moving House: Packing, Storing, Moving To Your New House
I am only planning to sublet 1 room. Do I still need to e-stamp the TA? I presume so. However, I don't think it's very useful if your tenant is non-singaporean/PR. Imagine if they go back to their own country after destroying your furniture? How to pursue? Even, if they are singaporean/PR but the damages are "little", would you still want to spend effort to sue them? I guess in subletting a room/unit, there are some risks that landlord should take. -
May i know how much and where to buy the carpet?

I did pay for the valuation report but I didn't pay for the $80 submission fee -
Oh, mine is Arctic White. So not much difference. But I always thought Corian one is much much more expensive (ard $140 pfr)
-
I think I'm paying around $110/pfr for LG Hi-Macs for white color (can't exactly remember which white but definitely w/o any kind of pattern)
-
Baaah ... cheaper price then what I paid. Cheer for you mate !!

Household Chores In Em
ngunadi replied to wonderlee's topic in Moving House: Packing, Storing, Moving To Your New House
I am looking an option to hire a part-time cleaner to come every 2 weeks to clean, wipe dusts, windows and everything else. Maybe also include ironing (if we can't cope with so many clothes)... anyone has lobang for that? Thinking to pay around $10/hr -
You have picture of it? I'm not sure which one is melamine sponge... thanks
-
Sigh ... what brand do you use for your solid top? How do you buffer it? cuz i made some stains on my white solid top:(
-
Cheer for her ... She managed to persuade my wife to invest on rainshower (albeit the cheaper model) hehe ... I wonder whether i should install a water pump to increase the water pressure now ..
-
How do you polish your solid surface if i may know?
-
