  1. Sorry, my bad! It should be 午向, not 子向. 子山午向 is the facing/sitting. Thanks for your kind advice.
  2. Unfortunetly, for houses that old the sewer design is somehow rather weird. According to the agent and upon site inspection, a few houses share a sewer along the road. Their sewer pipes run to this common sewer located at the back yard of this house that I am interested in. At least the agent is honest to reveal this . All the pipes are underground. So I guess I would receive all the "gold" from my neigbours...... But seriously, is this the case? Any guru can help? Or apply the golden rule, when in doubt (about fengshui), just pass. BTW, the house facing is exact South, or S2 (Zhi) facing as in some of the fengshui books.
  3. Hi, I am a newbie here. Recently I got a chance to purchase a 40+ years old semi-D. The back yard has a common sewer and according to my agent, this sewer is being shared with several houses; and this is the old design according to the agent where several units share a sewer and so happen that the unit I am looking at has this "gift". That means all the sh**t from "friendly" neibours will come to the back yard. We plan to extend the kicthen over the back yard and the common sewer will definitely sitting in the center of the kitchen! Housing agent said that a good contractor could help to connect the sewer to the public sewer so no worries of overflowing! In addition, a removeable tile could be installed on top of the sewer access cover in case there is a need to do maintenance work (which is pratically non-existense if it is connected to the public sewer). We like the location and facing of the house; only the sewer is holding us back. Is this bad fengshui? Also, will the smell from the sewer fill the kitchen? Many thanks for reading!
