i think cannot go small claim cause amount more than 10000.. anyone can clarify this?

this topic need to be close as more and more personal attacks is done than constructive ideas to bring about the closure of the problems. i sincerely pray that the problems is solved quickly, and i pray that i wont have to encounter the problems some of you having. and i apologised if any of my comment earlier in this post has caused any pain and heartache.

it sad for everybody whose reno work is delay by many months.... i cannot imagine what u all must be feeling right now. i pray that uncle will clear the backlogs he has so that u all can celebrate a peaceful year end. and last but not least.... SELAMAT HARI RAYA HAJI......

i dont know, how some contractors can save u more than 10k.. based on my calculations of all the contractors and id quote i got, i only manage to save max 6K... i am really surprised by the calculation done.

i hope and pray for those who has engage the so called "superstar"; may your reno finish as quick as possible. i hope and pray that whose reno havennot start with him.. if you have paid 1000 or 2000 deposit... ask him to return back, if he dont want.. report to case. and maybe hopefully you can get back the money. if all else fails... forfeit the money cause it is better to loose the money than your mind and sleep.

yup for contractors promises are just promises nothing else. for them it can be broken cause you oredi sign up with. they dont care... tell me, how many people will actually sue contractor for late HO.

wah you all can tahan until 3-4 months of reno work undone. if i am not mistaken timeline is around 6-8 weeks even for major reno. that means the tiler will lay 1 homo tiles then take 30 minutes rest. then do the next one then rest 30 minutes. wow..that means the workmanship super accurate and alignment super duper straight

thats the problem when when too much business is no good for business. I have reading about all this "GOOD" contractors, and it makes me really thinking whether to get popular ones (many customers) or not so popular. I have narrowed to one contractor but now, it is really really scary **** when HO is delayed not due to our fault. Why must these contractor be greedy and take more than they can handle? Why arent we, as consumer not protected? when delay happen. It is a sad day when i read the forum and see that some fellow forumers had to bear all these nonsense; promises broken, trust misplaced. why why why...
