  1. Hi guys, I've been searching for energy saving halogen bulbs (i know it's contradicting) but i've seen some lower watt halogen bulbs online. I'm using a lot of them so every 10 watts saved is quite significant. The ones i see at hardware shops is the 50w osram ones. Does anyone know where to find a large selection of bulbs?
  2. Hi everyone, first of all thank you Renotalk, if not for this forum I think my headache would have been much larger when it comes to renovation time. sorry if this is not related to home renovation but I certainly don't mind residential solutions because I think they are similar to certain extent. i am opening a shop in October and I need help with renovation. The landlord does not even want to give the floor plan so I need to produce one myself. Essentially I have no idea how to do it. This brings to mind the question, do I really need to hire a designer to draft the floor plan, ceiling plan, electrical single line drawings? i doubt that one can do these himself right? Could someone recommend a cheap designer to help me with this? It is quite a small floor space 300sq ft so I don't want to look up a designer who does mostly big projects and will charge me big time. IS there any other way to do this than to look up a designer? Can some contractors do everything for you from designing to constructing?
