  1. We got it from Corian's authorised distributor in S'pore directly. They don't give special discount for direct customer, only give cheaper price to contractor I think. So I think it will be the same price as what your contractor might charge you. Here's the contact, if you would also like to approach them OSA Systems (S) Pte Ltd Tel: 6841 2411
  2. They charge by pfr. The top cabinet is $125pfr & bottom $180pfr for the toilet. The solid surface & mirror is excluded from this
  3. The cabinet + mirror part by Classic, the solid top by Corian
  4. Ya, agree, but as long as it's fixable
  5. Hi, Happy New Year! It's been a while since I last update. I've moved in since 1 Feb and am since trying to tidy up the place, getting use to the where I put things etc On the eve of CNY, I got a shock of my life when my common toilet watertrap overflow while I was bathing the kids. Something must hv chock it somehow but we have no idea what. Finally I sacrifice my own hand and when digging... and guess what... this got stuck inbtw the hole leading to the pipes downstairs... This is our old toilet tiles, so looks like the workers are not very careful afterall.... good thing I didn't build any shelves on top of it.. if not faint... So all doing reno, I wld advice that you do a 'splash water' test after your toilet is done. Get a pail full of water and pour into the hole fast, cos this usually will sink at the bottom unless big gash of water disturbs it... Anyway, here's another thing I would like to highlight to new homeowner buying their WC. See this pix Common Toilet Master Toilet I didn't even bother looking at this part when shopping for a toilet bowl. So now will have to go buy a plastic one for our common toilet to replace. I hope it will be easy to change...
  6. Yo, can recommend your movers? I'm moving things from office to home. Thanks
  7. Thx thx, the light does make a great different. Actually I also don't want, but my hubby is the designer, so ... but I'm glad I didn't insist
  8. Hmm... not sure what's a good price leh, but she did give me a little discount lah, and it's only a little more expensive then Bosch, so... I'm quite happy
  9. We got our induction hob from Rina Electrical @ Shaw Centre. Go take a look there, quite a good range of pdts. They carry Bosch too, but don't remember seeing Teka. Teka's induction hob was full glass edge with no metal trimming, and so happen when we were at Teka's showroom, we saw a chipped glass on the induction hob, so... After that we were almost decided on Bosch. We went Rina and like the hob & gas stove, but hubby not very decided on their oven & steam oven. Then we saw De Dietrich, and my hubby was bought over immediately He fell in love with the 'zoneless' induction hob and so.... that's how we decide on our appliances. BTW, if you are getting Bosch, you can also try Harvey Norman @ Millenia Walk

Thx thx for the detailed report They are indeed very responsive and nice, just like Classic BTW, we had the same problem with our gas nozzle, where's your gas stove from?
  11. Aiyo... heart pain heart pain.... We asked our parquet flr guy to help, he kindof 'varnish' that particular area for our again, can't see very clearly from a distant, but near can still see lor... Simon suggested a wood marker thingy, I got one liao but hv not try yet... worried that the color is not correct, keke
  12. I got mine from Silestone, it's ard $210pfr. The other place we went for quotation is Ceasarstone. Their prices are comparative.
  13. Are you asking abt the kitchen surface or toilet? Keke... Kitchen is quartz from Silestone and the toilet Corian. Wld recommend quartz cos it's more resistant to scratches, so if you are looking for solid surface for kitchen, think quartz is good. The only minus point is that there will be join line if your kitchen is L-shaped. Think there are 2 other companies out there that has quartz surface, Corian & Caesarstone. As for the induction hob, our's from De Dietrich
  14. We got them from this 2 places: 1) Poh Seng Hardware - 153 Jalan Besar - nothing on display if I didn't remember wrongly, we casually ask while choosing our WC and so happen they have it in catalogue and is cheaper then other places. Think most shop will sell them, but not display out, so just ask. 2) Bacera Pte Ltd - 714 Geylang Road Lor 44 - they have a very big range of basin on their 2nd level. Semi-recess kind I think got abt 5 only thot... Looking forward to your completed pix
  15. We got our sink from 2 diff places, one @ Jln Besar & the other along Geylang, don't hv the receipts with me now, so can't give you the actual address... will go dig dig... The reason why we got semi-recess sink was cos our sink area quite narrow, not easy to find a nice sink for it to sit on, so this kind of semi-recess sink comes in useful. Not alot of shops carry this kind of sink and their designs are also very limited...
  16. I tried cooking for my kids yesterday, kekeke, just macaroni lah... and I love the induction hob experience! It boils so quickly, and so easy to clean... altho the electric bill might shot up lah... kekeke
  17. Thx thx Yes, there are storage behind the mirror to put barang barang The sink is a separate pc fr the counter top. We got this semi-recess sink and the carpenter will open the opening accordingly, after that the solid surface pp came to measure and install
  18. Here's some pix of my done up toilet vanity counter This is the common toilet, my favorite so far This is the master toilet, can't really get a very good pix/angle...
  19. not too sure leh, anyway it's been installed liao, so.... keke, you want?
