Argghhhhhhh.......... I scratched my bedroom floor while vacuuming... Anyone know what can I do...It's quite a deep cut... New house owner beware... Better to use broom to sweep first before vacuuming...
-
Hi Hmmmm..... delay due to ah... I also can't really pinpoint... I feel that I'm the odd one out lah. Maybe I'm not pushy or maybe I didn't firmly set a HO date... I see others all HO liao leh, and they doing more than what I did... I'm not sure if it's bec it's an existing hse, so there are alot of things in the hse so it's hard to work. Maybe also bec we locked our door after the kitchen carpentary are up so timing abit hard to coordinate... or maybe his sub-con are all too busy rushing for Christmas for other houses... I really don't know leh... He's a nice guy, but in my case, I feel like a 'contractor forsaken houseowner' lor But all that aside, all his sub-con are nice to work with Maybe I'll send you a separate PM lah

A few things happening today: Painter will be here for the final time (I hope and I think he hopes too... ) to do touch-up. He very nice guy, must take pix of him later Shower screen guy coming to do installation; Oven delivered and installed; Gas guy installing the gas stove; And... the wood guy for my balcony is coming to do some rectification work... yes, my balcony still got problem... sigh... will try to take pix of it later. My carpenter will be coming tmr to do the rest of the cabinets for the rooms. I so looking forward to it... wanted to move in soon... incurring alot of extra $$$ due to this delay...

Come to think abt it, I think it was like a big rectangle before we seal up the centre portion, not really a parapet...
-
keke, maybe I shd hor Actually I didn't know this is well-liked. I remembered scolding my husband for 'shrinking' the useable space. How to put things like that??? But maybe he's right to do it that way 10 yrs ago
-
Hi, actually hor, the hole was there at the first place. Like a parapet like that. (like the one in the common toilet) We seal up certain portion to create the 'hole' effect

Very swee.... Can I know if the stainless thingy is a water boiler? Where did you get it from? Very nice... I like
-
Hi, have not try the water heater yet. The guy in Asia Excel say the pressure is very good, the water inlet is bigger as compared to the rest. Frankly, not sure how true. It was an impulsive buy
-
Hmm... you referring to the piping for the gas or the piping for the water? Can't remember if the piping for the gas is copper, but we have definietly painted over it. All our other piping is in stainless steel. They having a promo on their gas heater now, $128 + $50 (installation fee)
-
Hihi Think you got the wrong person leh We got it at Excel for $230
-
Hihi Anyone has any contact for piano movers? Thanks thx
-
That's true, surface too smooth to paint on, and even painted liao, can easily scratch it away... like what I'm doing to some of my frames with paint mark now
-
Yap Didn't realised they have other colors.... I would prefer the Sandalwood Brown, blend better with the toilet .. but it's ok, this goes with the window frames
-
Oh yes, I found this in my storeroom, anyone with baby interested to have it?
-
Things are moving, but at very slow pace... Plumber was here, so finally we have water Rondy, you asked abt the water heater, here's the one for the MBR toilet, didn't sell it away Here's the common toilet. We are using Citygas heater for this toilet.
-
Hihi Can post some pix? I'm thinking of a custom-made bed frame. Thx
-
OMG, this is sooooooooooooooo ridiculous !!!!!!!!!!
-
Keke, this is just one of the many nice pix.... the rest you go home and view lah
-
Just for you Simon Mickey, hope you don't mind, too nice liao, must share
-
是美的 lor I like your idea of using the round light ropes, is that expensive?
-
Off track alittle... Checked with Classic, they don't use Lam Chuan leh... Looks like we are back to good old Formica
-
I've not moved back yet so I can't tell if the quartz surface we have is good or not. But think read fr comments & website that it's scratch & stain resistant. And think a few of them actually place coffee stains on the samples to prove that it's as good as it claims I think white solid top shd be as good lah. Stain shd not be an issue right?
-
Not only that leh... Painter - all doors need to be painted and some places to touch up Plumber - shd be coming tmr to fix up some stuff Electrician - also very busy, will be coming tmr too (think he came like 5x liao) Wood flr @ balcony - sigh... still cannot leh, he came yesterday to fix a small portion, still no good... Henry boss must come down take a look liao... All my other carpentery will be up by 9 Jan 2010 (Classic very busy also) So I'm trying to push everything (other than carpentery work) to be completed by 1st wk of Jan!!!
