Here's some update on my balcony. Before reno Hack away tiles + glass sliding door First choice of floor tiles But some problem with this tile, they say too long, will not be even, will hv sharp edges etc etc etc... so have to hack away... cement screed Just 2 days ago, they install the wood flooring... BUT... if you realised, there is one part that is very dark... Yes, chances is they are going to redo that part of the floor...

Hmm, pull up? Can post pix? The bi-fold door guy coming on Wed, not sure for what I spoke with Contractor today and he say 'no lah, I don't always side my sub-con one lah' hahahahahaha So either he read my post or someone fr Henner club mentioned this to him. Cheers Henner members
-
Oh, I love your bi-fold door. It's so nice
-
Hey Danny, if you wanna use top track, better check with Henry again re design hor... see my t-blog to find out what i was given
-
Hi, can post pix of your toilet bi-fold door for reference pls... And how much did you pay for it ah? Thx
-
A closer look at the ring... So if I don't put the ring down, the door can't close totally
-
yalor Suppose to pull the little ring to open the door lor That's why I'm so upset with Henry. But it's not his fault too lah, cos he also don't know what kind of door they install I'm angry bec he take side with his sub-con so readily, hv not even check out what's the problem, then tell me all bi-fold door standard mah... This one definitely not standard right...!
-
Yalor, that's the problem with our current bi-fold door lor... don't want the same thing to happen again...
-
Ya getting it, but have yet see the design from Henry. My hubby wanted that, so I no choice. Actually I called up a contact but he say too busy cannot entertain me. But he asked me go find the supplier from Ang Mo Kio Industry Park 2 I think, but cos I don't drive, I no choice but to go with Henry's contact. Henry actually say maybe today can install that door, but I told him I want to see design first, esp the part where the handle and the lock is, just in case...
-
I abit regret not doing PD door...
-
PD door & Swing & Slide is same I think. Other supplier also can do without bottom track, not just them. Are you also doing a bi-fold door?
-
No lah, the toilet door fr Henry leh...
-
Thanks Simon On a lighter note, we got the same WC as you And this is for our common toilet
-
Yalor, I also think it's expensive. But he say cos I want top-hung only, no bottom track, that's why it cost a little more... but even that... I don't care, will bargain with him again. Simon, yalor, I told him bi-fold door very standard mah, then why mine so different leh... I was very angry with him cos he kept taking side for his sub-con, he shd help me as his customer mah I really regret not getting this done directly from the supplier myself

Our MBR's toilet door were installed and I was pretty upset about it. I think I have see a fair share of bi-fold doors, but never have I even come across one that is like that leh... See the 2 little small square, that's the handle. You have to use your finger to pull out the handle to open the door. I tried, it's quite painful on the finger and not very user-friendly. Also, my husband commented that if the handle is not place back into position, it will 'jam' the door. Called up my contractor immediately to ask why is the handle for the toilet like that... the sad thing is... he don't even know what was installed I admitted that it is my fault for not even looking at the design of the bi-fold door before installation, cos to me, bi-fold door quite standard mah... Was very angry with my contractor cos he say, but you even know how a PD door looks like, you don't know how a bi-fold door looks like mah So I told him : Precisely I have seen enough bi-fold door to know that this is not a 'standard kind'! So I send him email with photos of my door and photos of 'standard' door ... so angry with him. And hor, this door is not alot cheaper than the PD door, think I was quote abt $300+ per door, also don't understand why so expensive... Think I ganna 'chop carrot' liao! Will bargain on this again.... So I told him yesterday to show me the design of the wooden bi-fold door for my common toilet before installation cos I want to make sure the design is ok. Then today he told me, maybe tmr will install the wooden bi-fold door. So I say but I need you to show me the design before installation mah, he like... errrr... So I told him I don't care, you better show me how it looks like first before installing, if not, even if your guy come I will not let them install...

Thanks. Think will tell Henry I want it white also leh...
-
Oh ya, forgot to ask you hor, how much is your toilet bi-fold door ah? Got bottom track? Also hor, my toilet bowl they fixed but put cement instead of the 'bei hui' so can see the grey grey cement leh... I ask why Henry say the white white will be dirty easily wor... but my previous toilet bowl also using white color one leh... but think it's not 'bei hui' but white silicon... Any comments?

So sorry to hear abt your ceiling issue.. hope it'll be fixed soon.

-

-
Hmm, saw this too. Simon, at least you still got a few years to enjoy your nice nice hse... mine hor will be done next yr ard Mar - Jun... that means I have <6 months before seeing ugly trunking running ard the house
-
Thx We just got ours from Home & Bathroom @ Balestier yesterday But nothing as cool as yours... just normal fittings... BTW, I called up Blum the other day to confirm the price. The HL is really >$200. Even the HS is abt $180 wor...The cheapest is HK, abt $85 i think... I'll check out the authorised dealer @ Bt. Timah to see if it will be cheaper there...
-
Thx thx. Actually I got a t-blog under dmay mah Thx for the detailed breakdown. I must have remembered the price wrongly then... My top cabinet are not glass and there is nothing on top of it, so there are more choices, which means more headache too Better decide fast and give classic a call BTW, can I know where did you get all your Grohe stuff?
-
Am thinking of HL, but am fine with either HS or HK too. Any idea what's the price range? My top cabinet is abt 800mm.
-
Thx for the assurance We using white for top and wood grain for the bottom cabinets. Classic will install the other brand of hinges for the top lift-up cabinet (can't remember which one, Hettich I think). For that they charged ard $95... Blum's Aventos Lift system will cost somewhere ard $200+, so I'm thinking whether if I shd change...
