    Finding time to shoot pictures for a simple house i've done for my friend a few months back, the interesting Homogenous Tile top for Kitchen cabinet, i've done a few using polish 600x600 homogenous tile ever since i done it for my own house 15years ago, this is the first time i use matt finish homogenous tile for kitchen top, it;s the same tile we use on the floor! Result?- We all Love it so much Her guest who visit her house have a touch on it, it's really amazing!

    Hi Cuppycake, they have used a wrong colour grout in particular... tell them you you want a brown grout as close tone to the tiles, don't want purple colour one so Retro... btw, the cost involve for re-grouting is around $200-$250 for normal grout, but you will have an option to use waterproof grout by Mapei, paying alittle bit more but it will solve the color changing when its wet

    i don't quite agree with you, based on my view, the IDs firm were not grabbing money by selling you a product such as insurance, house or car by after sharing their service & prices, once you are convinced you buy it, they get their commission and will leave you to their after-sales-service. The IDs firm have a long way to go after convincing you, they need to build what ever that have discussed accordingly, they need to made sure your additional request to be well taking care of before you are happy to clear their payment so that is when they can get their commission. Renovation is a tough job compare to the rest that i have mentioned, i hope i did not scare away those that in mid of deciding which jobs to go for. i am sure any of the new ID when they first renovating a house, they will surely pay lot of attention to ensure the house are well taken care of just like their own baby, but after getting more & more projects, the way of view started to change that we call them human. Nevertheless, by gathering more experience, i'm sure they will learn to care how to handle a house better than the first one that we don't denied, even if he has lost his initiate prospect but he will not loose his experience. If you are so care about the IDs firm earning your money, then you should not go shopping ever, cause they price to earn your money, They will not care if you do not want to buy their products, and again... they are called as human. "5) Don't over-trust your ID, even if he is from a big, reputable firm. Remember this: the truly good people who happen to step into the industry will sooner or later come to know all the evils in the industry. And most of the time, the truly good people quit because they cannot bear to continue fleecing unsuspecting customers. Most of the experienced people in the industry are those who have a way with words, those who know how to sweet-talk customers into paying more, and those who know how to get away with giving the cheapest/poorest quality work while making customers pay high prices." i'm not sure how you get this information from, but sorry, there is NO evils in this industry, but if there is a evils here, there are lot more in any others trade, i am taking about your work place too Yes Thank you. Please not all IDs firm fleecing unsuspecting customers, you may list out a few you had in mind but NOT ALL IDs firm are like that, atlease only very minimum IDs firm will fleecing customes, most of us- WILL NOT, yes sorry if you met one yourself you count yourself unlucky, but not everyone are unlucky. i am one of the experience one in the industry who have a way with words, joke with customers but i do not know how to sweet talk to made my customer pay more, pardon me we are not cosmetic sales girl, we are not BMW salesman, we are not Club member salesman, we are one that is willing to spend afford to ensure the house are well taking care of according to agreeable contract, that's who we are. i hoped there is no easy way out to write you a L box but give a cornice that kind of situation, you will have to check every single item listed in your quotation, ask your ID to explain to you in detail, take out the items that you don't feel comfortable and source for other player, Sign your name only when you are very satisfy with the contract you are signing, otherwise please DO NOT DO SO, same there otherwise, don't buy taiwan pearl mike if you think it is poison! Hope the above helps to clear IDs pants.

    3 Rooms should set aside $25K for wet work, 15K for carpentry, 15-20K for others like sanitary, kitchen appliances, sofa & TV etc Total: 45-60K depending on how much things you want

    You may choose any tiles to cover the existing U shape shower wall, install a kerb and shower screen to cover edge of overlayed tiles. Hack away floor finish under longbath. Remember to apply non-shrink grout+water proofing+water proof prepack mortar+water proof grouting for floor tiles. This should be ok but its not 100% best is to hack whole floor and retile.

    Home Owner, it is sad to say Levy keep increasing it is infecting in all ways so renovation cost are no more cheap, like what ASME telling us during my recent courses- "No More Cheap Labour in Singapore" Yes, our bangladesh worker is $2K per month based on yearly calculation, they will cost $2.4K after July 2013 just to work as a hacker, so what happen to our executives whom gotten $1.8K? i'm sorry for contractor employer you might want to employ local so that you can save your cost. Less Tiler lay man now because there are more Job opportunity in JB Iskandar, they would rather give up work permit in Singapore since they can earn same salary there and don't have to ride through custom and always heavy traffic.. Carpenters are facing higher factory rental, the only way out is to shift to JB so to keep low rental expenses, btw your admins are all from JB.. you can have 5 carpenters to work in factory without worker permit, and 3 workpermit holders just to do installation. But owners, you will have to spare more time cause they only have 3 installers.

    Found Old project photos- Bon Voyage Monet Changer when they were in Tampines Century Square B1, Years back, Partners Yoong & Chua the friendly owners of this shop must have kept you memories if you know them, they have shifted to Tampines MRT and have invited me to continue building shop for them (will find time to take photo of their new shop...actually done couple years back)

    Customer has complained to me that they have send Quotation enquiry on line, he has get 10 calls on the same day from many IDs to sell off their renovation service How i feel sorry for this ID industries it has became a selling tools, it has became so commercial, can't they give us a break don't they know every house should have its own character? "Welcome to meet your ID who can give you the most promises"- is indeed what they trying to offer to you, too good to be true? CASE has announce higher complain in Renovation industries... Nevertheless, On line Quotation has became the latest contract source for ID industries, it has replaced Expo exhibition, under HDB block and Showroom. We have bad experience signing up with one of the on line organization, we have paid a high price for signing up with them for 1 year, the leads that given by them have been circulated with many different ID firms, i really feel being con at the point of time cause the clients didn't even pick up our calls, they were asking for a lowest price and sincerity was never can hear from them, other than disapointment it seems there's nothing we can do about it. We are few of the lucky one who still expecting walk in customers every weekend, mainly was because of our good reputation in Tiler Seng thread, never give up of reasonable contract price, and many thanks to nearest Tiles supplier- Lian Seng Hin & Hafary since they are nearby House owner if you are still wondering around, drop me a message you will find possible beyond impossible!
