    Hi for myself, i will clear our quotation when i have time to seat down with my computer, some times i might need 1-2 week but there are chances that i am going to miss out...so please write back to me again. But if you can put yourself into the contractor's shoe, what would you do after a long day and your children are calling you? You may think that we should be more organise and we should employ someone to handle Quotation, but the result may turn out to be not to what you think it should be, so what would you do then?

    Hi Newbie, it is normal to spend $50-70k for everything include new TV set, i don't agree that things are getting expensive but infact, things are getting cheaper such as Fridge, LED 3D TV due to the market are killing its ownself. like us although levy & materials are higher than before, but contractors are killing themselves even worse than before.... so i would say, you are well protected

    don't need to be trouble, just meet the PM, go through and list down the defects, write down the timeline, in the end of the page: any delay the contractor shall compensate x Amount per day. will do.

    Hey smartgold, i'm afraid HDB is not going to allow any rise platform that can catch fire for now due to FSSB that has recently involved investigation on rise floor in Kitchen floor.

    Latest News for RT member: FSSD has recently issued a circular on "Use of Plastic Materials for In-Fill in Building Construction" where the use of Extruded Polystyrene Foam (EPF) for topping up of floor level is not allowed in HDB flats with immediate effect.
