    I guess you should make sure the one that in-charge of your renovation is familiar with HDB ruling. HDB has never allowed false ceiling in Bathroom or Kitchen/ Balcony...so call wet area, but they never stop you from having it there, only one rule- do it at your own risk, they will not responsible for damaging it due to future water seepage or repair.     I have received a call asking if I can provide renovation services & am I charging high or low price, well, it have been awhile ever since I tried to explained myself so I think is good to refresh: I am a designer myself and is providing all type of renovation services such as Home reno, commercial reno like office, shop etc, you can request me to build a Rocket too... From day one when I came in to this forum, I do understand the price range you home owner are looking for, and inorder to start a business here, my price has to be cheap! But there I have came to a point where my price should be fixed as it is now, I will not charge you higher cause I do understand that I will not get a business cause you guys are smart 20 century's owner already, and I cannot get anything lower cause that means I am not earning money, So be sure that our price given to you are already a fair marking price so please do not bargain some more or I will be upset. Please do not feel shy for contacting me for any enquiry, you may email or message me for anything regarding renovation, I am here to provide free phone consultation, i'll be happy to meet up once my price given are quite acceptant by you already. Also, you may help to introduce any commercial renovation like shop, office or even hotel project, I would very much like to cover you with some commission

    Now they have moved back to their Renovated House so no more suffering by the Road Madness Noise anymore

    My Customer who came to visit us from early year, has finally decided to renovate their house! they have rent an apartment that is near to our office, so that it is easy to communicate with me, but the trouble was they found that the rented house is very noisy because its near to main road, they spoken to me and i've tried everything possible to let them finish their 4 Room Renovation within a month so that they don't have to continue renting the place, it never been easy, cause everything in the house have to be demolished, including Main door & door frame, i've forced all my workers & contractors to work together, electrician, gas contractor, Air-con contractor, Plumber, & even carpenter to come in in one shot to do necessary work & necessary preparation.... its like a war if you can imagine. Result? See yourself:

    Good News everybody: Dear Registered Holder Please refer to our circular of 27 Jun 2014 on the mandatory use of pre-packed screed when carrying out the replacement of floor and wall finishes in all dry areas such as the living room, dining room, bedrooms, storeroom from 1 Dec 2014. In view of the feedback from the RRCs that they need more time to make adjustments, HDB has decided to defer the implementation to 1 Jun 2015. From 1 Jun 2015, all HDB RRCs will be required to use pre-packed material when carrying out renovation in HDB flats.

    Currently I am doing one maisonette at Clementi, carpentry still Queuing, but is not as bad timing as before, need you to send floor plan to me for calculation, bad news is prepack screed for HDB flat start from 1st Dec
