Hey all, I haven't got my keys to my new place yet, neither have I found any ID or contractor for the reno, but I'm kan cheong to start my t-blog so here I am! I just got my floor plan in the afternoon and after "cleaning" them up, I just can't wait to post it up. I will attach 2 floor plan. One is the original floor plan, the other is the current house floor plan. The first owner of the house did some hacking so there are some changes in the current layout. Original: Current: It's gonna be a major overhaul, and we are just keeping the marble flooring in the hall/dining area. I'm racking my brains on how to expand the kitchen. Now it's really small and dark. Cos the yard is just beside the lift area, so there's not much natural light. We want to remove the toilet in the yard if it's possible. Now I'm still thinking if I should restore the utility and store area (currently the study). If we are going to restore the utility, I thought I might wana hack the walls to open up the kitchen area even more. I will post the pictures later!

Actually I do have friends working in ID firm, and one of them was named ID in this forum, but he's not ID at all. He's just project coordinator leh. So in a way, I'm skeptical of ID firms too. But I also scared la, since my current house done by contractor. Aiya, headache sia. I also thinking of getting quotations from both ID and contractor. But if I don't have time to "jaguar" the reno, contractor still safe bo? hey ossify, I just read your t-blog. you really ideas liao liao leh. Can hire you or not? You expensive bo? kekeke...

I thought so too.. but red with white looks better. besides, my small kitchen need bright colours to "open" it up.

Hey all, I just bought my apartment last month and will be getting the keys probably mid April. Now I'm not sure if I should hire a contractor or ID. How much more do I need to pay for ID ah? My current flat, I got a contractor to do, and becos I don't have much design concept, it wasn't a good job cos everything tak match la. I thought ID can do a better job. Actually I don't need a showroom place, I just want someone to give me good ideas of how to maximise my new place's "potential", especially my dark and dingy ultra small kitchen. Need some advise... help help.. ID or contractor?

i don't need to loan the 4%. i just need to sell my HDB. after that financing that condo is no issue at all.

"4% will be payable after the exercise of the option to purchase" That will be 2 weeks after i sign the OTP and decide to exercise the option after getting loan from bank? Then when I get my bank loan, can I request them to include this 4% in their bank loan so I have upfront cash to pay? Then when do I pay the 15%? If the buyer for my HDB paying me COV, when do I get this cash? On the 2nd appt? Sorry ah, all these is making my head spin. Need to clear them up.

hello ***, my agent told me the 5% cash don't need to pay cash and as long as i have 15% in our CPF to pay can le. is it true? i got AIP from one bank already. and it's based on a higher property price. what else should I do? what others to check and where to check?

i tried street sine le.. it's really good. now i can agar the amount i want to nego already.. i can even see the map with 2km radius marked out. good for parents like me with kiddo attending primary school.

i signed up for the same program too. but got slimming gel meh? i don't have wor. the program targets to let you lose to your ideal weight in 3 months. i sgined about 5 month plus ago and lose only 5kg. why? cos i still can't resist food and sometimes still give in to my cravings leh. i still got 5kgs to go. everytime go review kena suan by the nutritionist guy. wahahaha. persevering....

I only saw from URA the propery, selling price and month of sale nia. I don't see which level leh. but the amount per sq ft is based on the same area as the one I'm looking at.
