Hi NITE 123 Congrats on getting your flat! For us, we spent about 16k for our renovation which includes the electrician and plumber. We did not use an ID as we had in mind a simple design for our house so we engaged a contractor instead. That helped to bring down our cost by at least 1/3. Also, because of our small budget, we had to do what we needed instead of what was nice to have. SO maybe you have to keep that in mind since you have a tight pocket. Besides reno, all the furnishing will also add up to quite an amount. So make sure you budget for that... unless of cos you have some existing furniture or appliances you can use. BTW, do you have to do flooring?

Yup, we are using it in our MBR. We only just got it and have been using for a few weeks. So far so good. It's not very noisy.. and we were surprised with its power. Speed 2 is good for normal days. Good enough for a bedroom. I think price is good for a remote control fan.

Welcome fz599! geylang serai... shd be near lots of nice food! Your layout is very very similar to mine (Fernvale court). We also had a hard time deciding on the wardrobe. End up hacking. But we did have an idea from an ID for the wardrobe without hacking.. Let me try to sketch it for you and post it up!

well... the rug is quite cheap.. so not so heartpain I guess if anything shd spill on it. *fingers cross* We didn't get the wet and dry vacuum cleaner. Too many things we want to buy already... HAha... Tuababy just said yesterday that I have a lot of things I want to buy and a lot of places I want to go... He STRESS liao.. this wife is high maintenance! Anyway.. I think if rug is dirty.. can send to the laundry at Fernvale point.... If you want to get rug.. get a darker colour.. White or light colours is a lot of WORK!

Guess the baby family hasn't been updating much. Our camara with my sis who took it to Japan so have to wait till she's back to post some photos of new addition to our home. Got some simple storage system from Ikea. Tuababy is building them up. Jia You! Once the shelfs are up.. then our unpacking can continue. We got a new rug for our living room. More bling bling so the other one we got from the Rug warehouse sale has gone under the dining table. Looks quite nice so we will leave it there. Hope to go to the nursery tomorrow to get some plants. The house lacks the freshness of plants. Okie... a picture speaks more than I can typed so hopefully next week we have pictures to share.

Newnyew I was at the sale.. saw the hob there..but actually the hob and hood was a gift lah.. so don't dare to choose so expensive... heheh.. so just took the turbo hob and hood... but got the smeg mircowave though...

Thanks Elane! But i want some storage too. Anyway, I've been looking at the IKEA catalog for inspiration and I finally found one. Will go back to measure to see if it fits.. and looks like we will be going to IKEA AGAIN!!!!!
