Where To Buy Stainless Steel Netting For Making Insect Screen
diamdiam replied to powder blue's topic in DIY Corner
I just buy netting curtain from ikea and use powerful magnet strip that i buy from daiso to form the frame. so that magnetic frame will stick to the window/door metal frame. I use it to block insert and ant coming through my balcony. washing of the netting curtain is easy, just remove the magnet strip and wash it in washing machine. -
don't forget you have to pay for the hdb insurance also

try epoxy. It is a strong bonding compound. It comes with two separate substance, one is resin, another one is hardener. you have to mix the two before use, after drying, it is very strong.
-
try daiso, i saw some magnetic strips ($2 each) sold there , they have different width and length.

Water 'containers'
diamdiam replied to blursotong's topic in Moving House: Packing, Storing, Moving To Your New House
I have a electric kettle, and a water container that is microwave safe. If i need hot water, i use the electric kettle , boiled water in under 5 minutes. if i need to store water, i used the electric kettle to boil the water. after it is boiled, i can immediately pour it into the microwave safe container to let if cool over time. I don't store hot water. Every time i need, i just boiled since it is so fast using a electric kettle. (especially for some amount of water)
