  1. Hi spotty, Although i nv gone to Nu space design, this is just my 2 cents thots from my past experience of renovation. You should be worried about price but sometimes service is more important. Some contractor might give you alot of problems later on after you sign on the dotted line. The most important thing is to find a trusted ID which you are comfortable with. You might wan to pull out some items to fit your budget but the most important thing is a find a responsible ID
  2. Hi alucard, I must agree with zhiz that you have to find the ID you are comfortable with and can be trusted. You have to also make sure your ID produce the material which you chosen like for example painting. Let's say if you chose the real paint but he gave u a mix paint. Imho i think the prices your ID quoted are quite reasonable. If you are comfortable with him, just go ahead =)
  3. Using granite as your kitchen cabinet top is definite a good choice. However, choosing India or China granites does make a difference though. If you want low cost and lighter colour, go for China granites. I have a friend who work in this line (not convenient to name his company), you can ask him directly if you want. You can get his number from me. He is quite experienced and have good product knowledge. =)
