Oh... then can forget it liao. Like using teletext using yr tv remote like that?
-
But i think browsing using Tv has one plus point. Not possible to kanna virus. At least not that i know off for now

If can only go certain website, then it must be Samsung websites. Hahaha. But it is useless if this is true. I am interested how this "surf internet using Tv" works. I vision myself siting at sofa comfortably with a wireless KB and mouse surfing net. NO PC, NO laptop. Then the Tv must somehow be able to connect to singnet or starhub liao.. ** wondering ** The more the price drop, the lower the price you have to sell it off. Actually some gadgets and electronic products are like that one... e.g is handphone. Drop damm fast. Especially SAMSUNG handphone. Maybe shouldnt buy SAMSUNG products.

I like clutter-free environment. Better get a Tv with USB ports. Haha.
-
If i understand correctly, the WD device also act as a multi-function device, u can connect any media devices to it and then output to view on Tv. Right? It is like a combiner kind of thing.

Bro supersimon, 'Optical out' i think is for audio, better quality compared to the usual red & white stereo audio cables. Hence u only have 1 cable for audio instead of 2. .. Anyone, correct me if i am wrong...

Since we are on this technology topic, actually for quite some time i have though of installing a pin-hole camera looking at the corridor area immediately outside my main entrance and then i can view the video wireless-ly from inside house or bedroom. Anyone did such thing before?
-
Eh.. sorry, this WD ethernet enabled device, how do we use it? Is it, laptop connect to WD device and WD device connect to Tv? So this way we can vew the content of the laptop on Tv? Like that still wired leh, i am looking at wireless ... :-p

No, wun kanna the mrt track sound. THe flat which i sold off kanna the mrt track sound and we had a hard time selling it off man!
-
Yr netbook is free anyway isnt it? Hehe. Put it to good use. If not u sell me yr existing Tv and a 'good' price. I dun need a tv with wireless support la.
-
Bro Ossify already said le, nowadays Tv very high tech haha. Actually i am not very good at all these also, still learning and exploring. And yes, nowadays some Tv come with Wifi support for surfing internet. Also got USB ports also! But dunno what it is for. I think u can plug in yr thumbdrive or something and see the content using Tv. U can turn yr Tv instantenously into a PC. I think from netbook wireless connect to Tv to display image also can. Ossify, right?

From the way we look at it, quite sama sama... but i did 6 ft wardrobes for both bedrooms. was struggling at a point whether to buy the wardrobes (not full height) but end up did not go for it because the top will collect dust and tendency to stuff lots of things above the wardrobe is very high, collect dust also and breed pests... :-p Also, with the Tv console, sofa and the sofa table (or call it the coffee table?), there isn't much space left for the passageway to walk. Headache on this also. How is yr living room design like?

-
Bro sorry, is this henner club another of your blog? I got no time to see it. I just settled down at my rental place. Past few days are crazy. Nearly fainted. Lol. After i settled down, i have to think of my reservist and also my reno prep. Everything clash together. Not good timing...

Hi momo13, it is quite challenging to overhaul a 3rm and cost under 30k. Can i check with you if you if your cost include changing the window grills and window and also the doors? Any carpentry work like tv console, feature, show rack and wardrobes? All rooms homogeneous tiles? I have all the above mentioned and it cost 30-32k... *sweat*
-
Alamak. didnt see the link to your blog in yr signature ah?
-
Yes i know what you mean. i feel that o should maximise the capability of the Tv that i am buying, even though at some extra cost. But if too much then no choice already... I watch Ch 8, U and ch 5 most of the time. No stahub
-
Hi momo, U also 3 rm right? I notice the fridge you are eyeing on, the width is quite big. Is yr kitchen cabinet L-shape? Fridge same side as stove or opposite site? Did you hack down the kitchen doorway and push the entrance further into the kitchen?
-
alamak, are those set top box meant to decode HD content/channel only (e.g HD5)? so using set top box does not help in the resolution if i am watching normal channels like Ch 8 and Ch U?
-
Hee... yes, at Harvey Norman i saw they only use 1 HDMI cable for everything. Damm neat! Now i using component video 3 cables + audio 2 cables = 5. this resale value thing i not sure also, some says is base on the demand of the car one, especially if you are exporting out. But ya, i will consider Korean over thai-assembled ones... QC in question.

Guys, I have another question. Is it better to get a microwave or microwave oven? Pros and cons? I realise got not much space to put seperate microwave and oven... Thanks!
