I just realised i made one more mistake. My living room ceiling light also off-centred. Because last minute i extended my L-Box. Now L-Box is up, trunking cannot shift liao. :-S

I told my contractor liao to do only 1 wall . Sliding track on living room side exposed. But the track itself already got a aluminium pelmet so it is not ugly (my contractor says). I can only trust him now. Anyway i have to give up the idea to sandwich the glass btw 2 walls. Cost twice as more and eat up my floor space. 2 sided wall + glass = 7 inches or so. I suspect is 7.5 inches to 8.

Confirmis different team, they reach my place at 1pm. The FCU is slanted. Then the trunking (immediately coming out from the FCU) is also slanted upwards (i thought should be downwards if not how water flow?) After that the trunking looks level... all the way for the rest of the route...

I really look up to you for DIYing the reno and still can go into such details on costing etc. I dun have such luxury. Even aircon installation, i also let them do the work themselves after i sort out the trunking route with them. then i am off to work. I dunno they use silicon or plaster powder... but the end result looks quite nice.. Let me take some pics on weekend..... I am looking at your 2nd and 3rd pic. Updates... Today the worker continue to build my kitchen doorway entrance partition wall. Dunno why he cannot finish in one day. I rush down to site to see during lunch time. After work go see again, still the same status. Wa lao... Surprise No. 1: The Kitchen doorway partition wall is 7 inches thick! Just to accomodate the glass door to slide in between the 2 partitions. Eating into dining room space which is already so small... Now feel like letting the glass door slide outside but the glass door sliding top hung track will be exposed..... Today Gain City come install aircon. Very punctual. I rush down during lunch time to discuss on the trunking route. After work i go down again to check.. and .... Surprise No. 2: One aircon he mount slanted. Anyone got this experience? Can i call them back to adjust it?

My L-Box is up. Tomorrow the workers will continue with the partition wall. No pics again because by the time i reach site, sky has turned dark... Hopefully by end of this week, doorway, painting all done according to schedule and window and door grill is up. Also understand from my contractor that carpentry work for my kitchen cabinet is on the way already.

Actually if the trunking is to go via above the bedroom doorway (from guest room, pass the recessed area in fron of the storeroom to master room), no hacking of walls are needed... Notsure if u can catch what i say cos yr unit is slightly different from mine, yours is corner right?

Bro, Which wall did you mount the aircon for master bedroom? During first visit by gain city, the technician say so much until i dun quite understand but they proposed a trunking route that penetrates into my storeroom from guest room then out to the other side to master bedroom. Not quite comfortable coz they are damaging my plastered wall..

Tomorrow is my aircon installation. Just now noon time a lady called me to confirm the time again. I hope mine is not as drama as yours, coz i already drama once liao.... :-S
