The mirror splashback, is it tempered glass? I don't think it is so I find it safer to use tempered glass as backsplash instead.

hi alamak, what's your decided layout? can show here? please take note of beams when planning your layout of living areas and light planning. will be very odd if your sofa or light is below or too close to a beam you can see my t-blog to see my layout too i have 4 living areas divided by the beams. don't hack the wall tiles at all. cover it with cabinets, and laminated spraypainted glass as backsplash!

most people pay around that price or maybe more for their electrical works if they engage an ID

Hmm I have never gone to their HQ before... and I don't think I will be buying more adapters.. already planned for more than enough Actually I hope I won't need to buy more.. difficult to get the same kind of discount
-
Great! Don't have to go all the way to Sunset to eat it Hmm if I go direct to Hafary, will I get the discount?
-
can take a look here
-
wah how to save more than 10k on items? all my electrical items add up less than 10k
-
if you just want to get off the shelf, you can get from homefix (sometimes they have 25% discount) but don't sell premium adaptors i think i bought direct from eubiq at comex so it's a bit cheaper (about 30% discount)

today a contractor came to my place, told me to do the following which i would like to see advice on.. i intend to laminate my flooring with Robina laminates, which comes with waterproof layer and a foam padding layer below it. do i need to remove the current existing vinyl tiles? every laminate shop that i approached told me i can just overlay. is the contractor trying to squeeze more $ from me? i intend to run my water pipes into my house near the top corner of my ceiling. my contractor said he can drill a hole through the beam so that the water pipe can go through it. is that safe? allowed by hdb? if i buy my tiles direct from hafary or LSH, can i get any discount? or should i just let the contractor bring me to select tiles?

costs me $2k for my eubiq system, details see here
