Day 1 hacking as planned today. 8.30 am meet to mark areas to be hacked and pay deposit. efficient, on time. before at 9am noon time evening at 6pm over all, quite efficient, only 1 local chinese worker to finish most of the work. at a cost of $1000, i think my contractor made quite a tidy profit noticed that the worker found 2 2-gang sockets for himself, won't deny him of his find still have some walls to hack near the bathroom/toilet and near the bedroom 2 door, should finish by tomorrow. hope to meet my 2nd contractor tomorrow!

er.. cos cove lighting points upwards only, of course it won't brighten the room. i am not doing cove lighting personally, i think your contractor chop you water is always the main concern for laminates. i'm using white teak it's kinda off white with gray streaks, suitable for my theme.

there's a reason why i only use fluroscent tubes in my home monthly running costs but PLC generally looks more luxurious and flurorescent tubes generally looks cheapskate people with more money like to spend more for my 3 rm flat plaster whole house, i was quoted $1300 for plastering of wall and ceiling, except kitchen wall. which 3 colours did you choose? I soak in about 5 cm deep for 2 days. (1 day soak, 1 day dry, 1 day soak) also used a big cleaver to chop it

went there in the morning at 9am, they're not opened yet (open at 10am) but they tell me that the 200 steam irons (at $1) and the 20 limited daily items are already sold out since 5am. i wonder if it's true or marketing gimmick
-
they can just coerce the old couple to give them the new key cut the SP services till they move out
-
update on this: after investigation, i was given 2 options, cash refund of the delivery charges in full or replacement of damaged parts (but need to wait for unspecified time) i think i'll just take the $$. don't know how long they'll take to replace my parts. on another related event: i bought the silver metal frame for my glass dining table at $20 from AS-IS (usual price $40), now waiting for the chrome legs if i buy from ikea, it'll cost me $100 for 4 chrome legs, more than the $70 i spent on the glass top and the metal frame.
-
just terminate their SP services.

the $380 is made of aluminum and glass, yours is aluminum and acrylic the $380 don't have rings to pull, yours have
-
Which one do you think is safer? 1st or 2nd? I think I prefer this one, seems sturdy and safe, $380.
-
personally never seen or touched. but shouldn't shake a lot. what are you worried about? but i think the top one (in my post) is cheaper and less sturdy than the bottom one ($380), imho. i think i'll get the bottom one ($380) i also don't like how the handle is done for the 1st set looks very difficult to close. how much did it cost you? oh really is the rubber magnetic?
