not sure if you can paint over putty. you can try spray paint. go to homefix, tell them you have hole in your cupboard's internal laminate and have putty inside which you want to make white, ask them for any suggestions. my guess is they'll recommend the white acrylic spray. but they sell the nippon one at $5.5. you can buy nippon one outside at $4.5, nobrand at $3.

lights may cost a lot, depending on your taste. economical would be possible to do under $100, basic would be under $1000, classy would be under $5000 sanitary: WC costs from $100++ to $2000+, sanitaryware, shower set, toilet accessories can cost from sub-$100 to $300 or so. Cooker hob and hood can cost from $500 to $3000 rewiring usually would cost up around $3k for 5-rm, up to $6k, depend how much of a carrot you are. mm, take a look at my t-blog to see the rough prices of various items. my lights are economical, my sanitary are basic and classy, my wc is basic, my hob is very economical and my rewiring is classy.

then how your contractor explain 3 become 7? actually I feel that one wall is enough. If you sandwich the glass with walls, if need to replace the glass, have to remove one of the walls. I suggest you have one wall, one sliding glass, and one pelmet at the top to hide the track. this way you save on the floor space, have ease of maintenance, and cheaper. (er the last point only matters if you are in the planning stage)

2nd pic shows a close up shot of my aircon trunking, you see a U shape, that's the aircon trunking under my beam. 3rd pic shows original beam which cannot be hacked. i mounted my aircon on it. actually all 3 of my FCU are mounted on beams sounds like your installer not very good you better call their supervisor to complain

ikea cabinets are not cheap if you buy drawers. if you buy shelves and cheap door, sure very cheap for me, i want all drawers, so all my kitchen have drawers. ikea uses blum sliding tracks, very good but the worktop is very cheap, only $55 for my 126cm worktop (about 4ft). cheap means that replacement will not have heart pain. my double bowl sink costs about $500. The 12ft bottom cabinets +worktop cost about $1300 in total. Total bill for 12ft bottom kitchen cabinets+worktop inclusive of 80cm double bowl sink costs $1828. All cabinets have drawers except for sink cabinet. If you consider cabinets alone, it's about $100pfr. Worktop is about $14 pfr. Very cheap, imho I mount my MBR aircon on the beam that is above the door, 60cm away from the wall that will be my wardrobe area, the wall between bedroom 1 and bedroom 2. When my aircon people drill hole into my walls, i asked them to use the plaster powder to patch the hole back. Make sure they don't seal the hole with silicone as it will change colour over time. I still have quite a bit of plaster powder left over for future works like patching the hole in my wall due to change of plumbing inlet. For my house, the aircon people only drilled a hole in the top corner part of my wall between bedroom 1 and bedroom 2, see the following pictures.
