Make sure your compressor can support your 12k btu units. if your compressor is 20k (normally this is the case), and if you switch on 2 aircon, your compressor cannot generate 24k btu of cool air. if you switch on all 3, it would definitely be very slow to cool down the room.
  2. Found a picture of what my kitchen with Eubiq will look like. This is L shaped, my kitchen will be "11" shaped Checked my quotation. My Eubiq will consist of 1m of track for TV console, 0.8m for dining area, 0.8m for mbr, and 1.2m for kitchen. Includes 14 compact adaptors, 12 premium adaptors, 2 motion sensor lights, 2 toggle switch lights, 1 study led light, 1 usb charger, 4 sockets for RJ45 or RJ22, delivery and installation. Total damage is $2k
  3. Do you really need a cement base for fridge and w/m? That will limit the size of the fridge or w/m you can get.
  4. Is Daily Scoops related to "The Daily Scoop"? Chip Bee Garden is the one opposite Cold Storage? Many hidden gems there
  5. hope your contractor's name is not pierre as for the pipe, you can box it up with acrylic panels
  6. just checked my CPF OA account, all gone except for 2 month's worth of contributions. wonder if i should channel these 2 months of OA contributions to pay up the HDB loan edit: on 2nd thoughts, i'll leave it inside to earn the extra 0.9% interest from CPF
  7. don't take no for an answer!
  8. currently using 707 which costs $190 pretty good but my lighting guy recommend me to buy mistral at $95
  9. should be okay since that place will be my common shower area so it can be soaked daily
  10. 2 pcs, separate. but i buy as a set
  11. It's just a hole. If you rotate left or right, it's still the same hole But the hole cannot be shifted so the WC cannot be shift too. I know some people tried to offset the WC but complaint that there is problem with flushing when you offset.
  12. I think it's a 1-pc WC I am intending to shift the orientation of the WC so yes I must remind myself to measure the exact dimensions of the toilet and the drainage pipe. Thanks for the headsup!
  13. mm my kitchen is "11" shaped can see my tblog how i intend to build my cabinets. as for photos, gotta wait 2 months more cos haven't build yet My expansion (8 ft) will be intruding into my dining area so it would be considered as 'dry' kitchen. Another 2 ft can be added on top of my W/M
  14. yes thanks for the explanation Personally, I don't do fridge base or w/m base because I want to have a choice of where to put my items and I want to decide what size to get. if your fridge is small, your base is big, it'll look odd too. your kitchen looks about the same size as mine mine will be 5 + 2 ft on one side, and 8 + 3 ft on the other side. in total 18 ft. hmm smaller than yours but i have space for expansion another 10 ft if needed.
  15. is your fridge supposed to be hiding the mosaic?
  16. hmm i have never ate there before. i assumed they are tourist traps how much do you pay for sting ray there? yes it's true. if you're an average user (8hr per day at night for 2 rooms every night), it'll be better to get non-inverter. the quality of installation affects the noise generated. inverter is quieter, but non-inverters can be almost as quiet too if properly installed. (most people can't detect the differences in decibels). don't get inverter unless you switch on your aircon daily to cool your whole house.
  17. if you are exactly 1.7m, should be okay. unless you tip toe while cooking yes Eubiq charges according to length, in-built outlets, and quantity/range of adaptors. it's very modular/flexible. yes of course it's more expensive than using normal sockets otherwise everyone will be using eubiq already if i'm not wrong, i will be getting 26 adaptors, 2 sensor lights, 2 on/off lights, 1 usb charger, 1 led task light for study, 2 rj45 points, 2 rj22 points. all for $2k. if you count $60 per double socket and you get 13 of them, it costs $780 only. so generally expect to pay double what you would normally pay for my house, i have no space to stack so many power sockets. i also have no space to conceal within furniture. so have to spend a bit more on technology
  18. i'd go with the 1st one, unless you don't want the textures to be noticeable
  19. I am getting from Natural Cool as I trust their installation. How long an aircon lasts depends on the installation. My usage is probably less than half of yours so hopefully it'll last for at least 10 yrs. What food do you like there? I like cafe terrace 211 and mykii
  20. A Lighting Enterprise at geylang. $270 each Where's your workplace?
  21. me at 8 who did you buy your aircon from and how often do you use it?
  22. hope you have the official extended warranty document. hmm wonder if they will give you better installers if you buy extended warranty thanks you stay at holland? which blk? the water pipe and insulation is the standard one, Natural Cool should have decent standards, haven't heard a single complaint about them so far.
