Thanks Liana for the picts. I got it the first time round actually - it went to into spam mail. The pic is alright and it looks much better than the one HDB gave us. =)
-
Thanks Thanks =) Think I need the $3.50 grouting too. just in case....

I didnt overlay the wall - coz still can tolerate. When I decided to "redo" the kitchen floor tiles, it was kind of late already. But luckily they managed to level all the floors. Btw, does anyone know what to apply on the gaps btw the homo tiles to protect and/ or whiten them? What brand is good?
-
Hi babymaro, may I borrow your mini mercedes? But I am not sure if I need it as yet. Just in case I do. Heh Kitchen -can. Toilet - cannot. =)
-
Are you hacking wall tiles too? Good that you are hacking your kitchen tiles. I overlayed mine bt i think hacking is better.

No lah. Don't feel pai seh lah. He did park the bicycle right in the middle btw the 2 doors when there is sufficient space at his side in front of gas/water pipes cabinet for him to reverse the bicycle into. But I think there's no point in arguing with them anymore. If basic courtesy is not taught at home from young, they will never geddit. The grandpa (cyclist) argued that he is in the right, his daughter defended his actions and thinks he is right, his grandchildren will just watch and learn that parking the bicycle in the middle is right. =P

Thanks to yel & redcrystal for helping me with the defects checking. I was concentrating so much on the outside and it didnt come to my mind to check the insides. hehe. Informed the carpenter and he will be rectifying them. Reno's coming to an end. My take on the reno outcome: ok lor. The process is generally smooth-sailing. It's more difficult to get the ID to come down now than in the beginning though (am sure I am not the only one who experience this). The photos. Thanks =)

Thanks, that would be me. =)

Waah long lecture. Thanks =) Will try to take a pic of it this weekend. Matt. My cabinets are matt.
-
Hi Meowie, Thanks so much! =D Mine's different although the colour scheme is the same. My ABS trimming is only at the edge, which means the sides are made of laminate material. And so, if the ABS trimming colour is not close to the laminate colour, the door will look like it's been "outlined". Will try to take a pic of mine soon. Thanks to Yang Guo too =)
-
paiseh. thanks thanks. For those who have yet to do Kitchen cabinets and intending to do ABS trimming. Take note of the colour of the ABS ok?
-
Have you taken pics of your kitchen cabinets? If so, can put them up on your blog? Just came back and won't be dropping by the new place till next week. sigh~ =( As for the rest, please don't trouble yourselves taking pics - upload only if you already have them in your computer.
-
Hi all, Anyone of you used ABS trimming for your kitchen cabinets? Able to upload or pm me close up pictures? Mine looks pretty obvious. Am wondering if this is acceptable.
-
Not sure if this will be of any help. You can remove the bottom grill quite easily.
-
Got sms meh? I still lurk....sometimes... You are right. Anyways, the HDB officer who clarified said this is a very common "confusion". And she took a pen and underline the words "service....balcony" on the diagram that Meowie posted up.
-
The HDB person told me this is not applicable to Blk 79 because we do not have service balcony. She said there is no restriction on our window grill patterns. So, dun worry. =)
-
Received mine. Cost $79 and there wasnt any reno over the CNY period. Weird! Without veins for me. =)
