Hi everyone. My 3rm flat is a 3A model 74sqm. It is about 5 min walk to Lakeside MRT. At first I thought it's quite costly but lucky I bought it soon coz I just found out that the area has gone up & ppl are asking for a lot of cash. I didn't have to pay any cash coz that flat has been repossessed by the bank. And I agree with you about hacking away EVERYTHING. and have it all done to my style & liking! Up to date, we spend close to 26K doing the whole hse. And I can't wait for the renovation to start! Yipeee.....

Hi everyone. My husband and I are gonna get our keys come 20th Aug. We are so excited. It is our 1st home together & I would like to share some pic of the before & after renovation with you. It is just a modest 3rm resale flat. We got it for $255k. It is in an extremely horrible condition. You'll agree with me when you c them. Will post them soon!

Which contractor and what tiles r u using?

If i provide the tiles while they hack and lay, how much do you think they will charge me?

ok.. thks. i think i need to speak to my contractor agn. maybe ur right. it is rather high considering the choice of tiles we can choose is $2.80 n below. if we wanna take the higher price tile ($3.20) we have to top up the difference.Btw my unit is 74sqm but that is for the whole hse. is there any way to find out how many tiles are used so that we can actually calculate the whole thing accurately... i dowan to be "cheated"..

no wall tiles. my wall tiles are only in the kitchen. for the living room & bedroom, hacking need to be done. so u think that $4k includes hacking as well? hmm.. this whole reno thing giving me a headache!

I am unsure of how my contractor quote the price for my floor tile.. $4k for my 3A flat (living, 2 bedroom + storeroom). We only have limited choice of tiles. $2.80 per sq. How do they actually calculate? is $4k alot?

Hi.. i am considering to have stone tiles in my common bathroom.. what do you think? As i will seldom use the common toilet, it will be free of dirt and grime. Are stone walls on toilets easy to maintain??
