Hi. Do you know who is honouring the warranty for the Vornado? Could not seem to search who is the sole distributor here. I am still tempted by the Vornado:)

Saw the product and it was not too noisy. But very little wind in my opinion.

You can try Sim Lim Tower. Quite a few shops there.. 1 at the first floor entrance and a few more on the other floors.. suggest you ask around for price before buying. Actually, my advise is to go for the wired one if you can run cables. My exprience with wireless is that the transmitters run quite hot and sometimes not very stable.. but that was quite some time ago.. could be different now.

Got my TVs and mounts today.. seems that fear was unfounded... they left the mounts behind without asking anything. In fact, the guy seemed pretty happy that he did not have to do the mounting..

Hi ! Anyone with a reasonable CRT TV repairman to recommend? Think only the on/off switch have some problems cos of my kid pressing the on/off button repeatedly. Wanted to dump the 34" Sony TV (Japan built) but the picture quality is still good and the sound quality better than any LCD now.. so, thought of repairing it if it is not too costly.. Thanks

I will be getting me 50" plasma TV soon and included in the deal is free wall mount and installation. However, the salesman warned me that if I do not mount it straight away, they will not leave the bracket behind even if I tell them I will use it later. Why is this so? I don't see any sense in this..

Most Home Fix stores selling these now.. Got mine from Choo Chiang at Woodlands. I got those E27 dimmable ones and not the remote control ones but I am sure they can order for you if you advise them what you need.. Went to see the Megaman ones and they were alot more expensive than the Philips ones and also flicker when they are just turned on.. strange as they claimed was normal but I did not see this in the Philips bulbs..

I am thinking of installing air conditioning in toilet and unsure of what kind of system to use. Seen the ducted one with unit hidden in ceiling but I reckon the maintenance is crazy as need to open up the access each time to clean. I guess the best bet would be the single wall mounted unit. My toilet has direct access to the compressor as there is existing false ceiling all the way to the back. Anyone here with a good air con company to recommend? Thanks !
