so what is allure resillient flooring actually ? laminate ? real solid wood ? does it has warrenty n what does it covers ? actually guys, is there any real water proof floorings n non hollow/cracking sound where i can just overlay.. sick n tired of worryin for water issues.. regardless of brands, laminate is just a compressed wood which has ugly trimmings/water fear/ hollow.... amazingly they are some selling higher than marble -_-

just to check as i wanna touch up 1 of my existing room... is there a lump sum charge to do just 1 bedroom around 5ft ?

i'm sorry, maybe i might be wrong. Cause from their namecard, they are actually many china series listed. And i heard from my reno contractors, he mentioned they were only 1 year old. WAREHOUSE = own stocks. maybe i'm wrong totally but did they draw their stocks from some where else ? anyway, i've got my flooring done already. No more homework required

haha..checked with others they are only around 1year old. anyway they seemed so desperate when they start dragging me to their table during the exhibition and keep pushing me to sign up. it's quite nasty.. however i think tarkett is a very good brand in germany. But not in sg. their sg supplier is goodrich..can we get from them directly instead ?

But Supreme is made in china & mal. I am very concern about formaldehyde emission & safety of my family members. As everyone noted danger of china products.

i think you should try consider other kind of engineered wood flooring since you have already tried laminate flooring..

Yeah, so many vendors out there.. anyway, people still prefer euro product if it's only another 20cent/sqft more right.. I believe everyone who manage to sell it in sg well.. will suit our climate

if you going kronotex showroom, make sure you made arrangement with a salesperson 1st. i was there on my own the 1st time, i stood like a stupid idiot until this nice salesman just nice came back and attended to me. I think the sales team is too busy, their biz must be real good from their company portfolio.. and that saleman (derek) is really important to me during my visit. i got my ac4 8mm laminate for about $4.70, quite steep, but for the package derek gave me and material quality i feel it's quite amazing. i think highest range products is around $8 like that.. think they have products of $5,6,7,8 if i'm not wrong. Not sure whether they have raised the price, i'm still in contact with derek, i'll ask for you

haha, your flooring is KRONOTEX. Is one of the better range . At least the price you paid for is a full german brand

agree.. kronotex 12mm is really very attractive.. the salesman qoute me around 7.9 with alot of freebies in the package. Almost signed up but my wife hold me back cause she don't see a need for 12mm at home and mine is only 3rm flat. So went for 8mm ac4 ones.. really good and very good worksmanship as i look at how they did the whole day. They actually gave me worksmanship warranty which includes perfect joining that ease me when i mop the floor. Salesman very friendly also.. his name is derek, now we still keep in contact to go bike roundings.. try look for him and ask for qoute, afterwhich say you are introduced by BEN. maybe you get a better package. haha

i suppose most REAL euro companies have pass certain eco standards in europe. Pergo, kronotex are all in the green label, even for their underlay.. rather than the lousy foam type. Make sure when you buy AC4,5 check for their certs, i think some small companies or salesperson would say their product is AC5 without any paper prove. I got my AC4 from kronotex and i'm more particular about good materials and company profile. Best thing they are not expensive euro products. Quickstep also very good, just that i'm budget type for my whole house.

yeah, i was charged 10% too.. i think it's quite common. btw, songyuhan.. what do you mean by SWEEDISH BRAND MANUFACTURED FROM GERMAN. so what brand ? swedish brand or german? contradicting. If you really check up and done your homework, i suppose you should know it's not from germany nor sweden. And if you have paid $5+ - $6+ for this kinda laminate floorings i think you really very impress with the designs or salesperson.

Omg, from the homework i've done, they are just a 1year old company without a warehouse, small showroom and china made boards. Besides euro companies like pergo,kronotex are able to show me their certs, e.g green label, iso cert and click system patent rights. I believe your f.b doesn't even have the patent rights. Anyway i'm very product cautious.. maybe you feel more comfortable with service provided by your sales man. F.Y.I- pergo started/invented L.F 20over years ago.. i duno how a 1 year old company can introduce you a 130year old product. good luck
