finally today have some pics to show. gonna show the before, design and after photos! before starting, here's the overall design of the house. now lets start with the living room... BEFORE DESIGN AFTER As you can see, we switched to wood flooring, forgot abt the coffee table in the design and I'm still short of buying a display cabinet, bar table/stools. More comparisons in a while!

my dad also carpeted the walls for the ktv room. sort of soundproofs it. but wow, music/band room, ur kids love creating music? maybe next time we see, The Giraffe Band.

yayayaya, they ALWAYS like to bring forward appt time. i dunno vomit blood how many times alr. maybe tt's y i getting anaemic!! goo gone u got to leave it there for a while lor, i like using it also for all the sticky residue stains. shoe cabinet not enough arh, haha buy another same one and stack on top!! :X

moral of the story: always put in ur shoes before the man does so. i hadn't unpacked my shoes yet when he came to me with big big eyes, "aiya, i forgot i got boots & rollerblades, how?" then soft-hearted me give him one cabinet, thinking i had enough place for my shoes. obviously i don't have enough. but too late. gam xia! will try and buy it tml if i got time to go northpoint. true hor, he still thinks i got too many shoes for my own good. sounds not too bad. better than my $60k. haha. but ya la, when own ppl do, its a bit more difficult to pick at small stuff we're not happy with. eg. i wld have rather we plastered the walls. haha ok la, u're still better than me. ytd i counted another 18 pairs of shoes which have not been brought over to join the current 19 pairs in the cabinet. lucky i only have 1 pair of boots which can fold cos it is fabric, but i like those knee high boots i always see on the VS sites.

alamak, i was just at daiso last week. thanks for the tip! hahahaha, i agree on the hairstyle, but not the shoes!! he always tell me, "i only got 3 pairs". then over the weekend, suddenly got boots and rollerblades appear and took up one cabinet. still tell me, no choice, the boots are for reservist, then rollerblading is his hobby, when i haven't seen him doing so for the past 2 yrs. he lucky now got this shoe stacker solution, haha, or else i'll put his boots & rollerblades in some corner in the store cabinet.

but if i remember correctly, it doesn't have the hooks which can hold the straps of dresses right? cos i think there was some reason which stopped me from buying.

hehehe, he won't la. i got one rack i bought from NTUC for visitors shoes, maybe i shld relegate his shoes there hor. hahaha.. now u mention, maybe i go IKEA buy hangars also, need a lot a lot! i bought bout 50 the other day, cannot even finish hanging one bag of clothes.
