Would not recommend ELMARK fans, who claim to be the King of Fans! Bgt mine last year (with light and remote control) and within 2 months, had to change the fan/parts twice!!!! Lucky still under warranty. After one year, the medium speed kaput already (moves at slow speed instead of medium) and it is going to cost me at least $100 to replace the part. I had bgt the fan last year for about $270. Think you can try Giant Tampines which has quite a good range of ceiling fans or some of the lighting shops at Balestier or Serangoon North Ave 2 (i tink!)

Hmmm....can't quite recall, around $700 I think, so not cheap. Recently had to change one of the parts (had to pay for this) which controls the push-out movement after 5 years but other than that, I did not have any problem with it the last few years. If I remember correctly, the warranty is 1 year.

I am neither. Regrettable you did not have a good experience with them. Probably I had good service bec the boss (I think) handled my transaction including the aftersales service. Btw, you sound like you are their competitor!
