But everyone knows they come from cheap source in China. Buy a QQ, don't expect a Volvo. And they are not tested by an independent company. So, what do U think when they say they are good? Hi, Pergo is very nice to have. Especially the colors are unique. However, if you are getting a "common" color laminate. Then there are many similar products. Try going for European made product and Certified eg SGS certification. Some ranges from Pergo are mfg in Malaysia using older technology. (keep cost down) Need more info, let me know. Zip.

Hi, Normal wastage is 5%. Unless you are laying at a diagonal angle or curve area upto 15% more. Or the laminate board is the small narrow type 10% wastage. If u need more info, PM me. Zip.

Hi Reena, It really depands on how your family uses and maintain the floor. If you are the type that wash or does heavy wet mopping, do not go for laminate floor. However, if you should want to use laminate. Use a good reputable one with proper certifications by independent co. Many co just "say" they are good. How good...???
