  1. Can't agree more with everyone here on lousy Supreme service. And I cant believe that after all these years, they have not improved the service. Someone should really complaint to Consumer Right thingy. 2 years ago when we wanted to sell off our old place, we realised that our flooring profiles delaminated and broke in some areas (the one below bedroom doors to separate the bedroom floor from corridor, etc). I called many times and finally told that the sales guy left already. I raised the need to have the profiles changed with the customer service and they never came despite following up various times! We got so upset that we finally engaged Inovar to do it for us at charge and sold off the place.
  2. Hi there, I have personally experienced Krono and Inovar in all my previous houses and I have come to the conclusion that manufacturers backed warranty is very important. In fact I also tried Supreme. Supreme sales people didnt bother attending to my complaint while the Kronos boards just couldnt withstand the high humidity of SG weather. The boards all suffered from this buldging issue on the joints and we didnt even do wet mopping. So far I'm still very happy with Inovar and I have recommended many friends who are likewise satisfied with the service and quality of the product. Their promise of super water resistant really holds true. Despite our maid mopping the floor twice/day, the floor still looks good and no sight of damage whatsoever. You can PM me for the detail of the sales person if you want. Just my 2 cents...hope it helps.
  3. hi,

  4. What about Inovar Floor? They're the only direct manufacturer and I'm very happy with the product so far. No complaint whatsoever
  5. Hi can u pls pm me your reno id and contact? thanks!

  6. Hi Alan, Are you able to ask your friend the brand/company that he used for his bamboo flooring? I still can't make up my mind on whether or not to go ahead with this purchase. Thanks
  7. Oh ya...I had a second and third look at the photos again...and I notice that your friend's bamboo flooring is very long. I wonder what the length is....looks like it's more than 1.5 meters. Beautyyyy
  8. Hi alantan, i really like your friend's flooring. It's the same look of flooring that my ID showed me...but are you sure it's the same bamboo flooring I was referring to? Cos my ID told me bamboo flooring needs to use plywood and glue down. I'm really no expert in this. Also do you mind if i ask where your friend got the flooring from and how much? The cost is a bit steep as far as I know...but I really fell in love with it from the 1st look...hehe Appreciate your reply. Thanks
  9. Hi guys, Seems like my endless renovation work is forever there...hehe I've been thinking of overlaying my whole house with solid wooden flooring but I realise that the cost is very high as I like the longer planks (>1.2 meter length/plank). For solid tasmanian oak flooring, my ID was quoting me around $35psf..totally out of my budget and I was told that I must wait for 4 months too as the stocks need to be shipped in from overseas. He also proposed something quite new to me...not the normal bamboo flooring but Strand Woven Bamboo Flooring. It looks really solid...and costs $23psf. Apparently this is the new bamboo flooring which is supposed to be very durable and eco-friendly. I like the length of each plank..i think it was like 1.5meter or so...i can imagine it will look very elegant after installation. My only concern was on the termite attack and the reduction of total height of my floor-to-ceiling height (bamboo needs to use plywood base underneath apparently) I am quite tempted to go ahead with this bamboo option...but appreciate if any members here have experience with such product that you can share with me? I'm afraid of making the wrong decision as the total cost is quite a handful amount here and I'm totally new with this product. Appreciate your comments...thanks
  10. Sorry for disappering for a while...a lot has happened lately with life and work. OK, regarding the leakage issue....finally the MC gave in and took the initiative to fix it for me instead of pushing the above unit to settle it. The $50 from upstairs unit was passed to MC. I also passed $30 as coffee money to the poor workers who spent whole day fixing the above unit pipes from my unit. It was still not the most ideal solution, but one that saved me a lot of trouble.... Bumping into them now in the lift is never the same pleasant experience anymore...I still can't believe how uncooperative they were despite me talking to them nicely.
  11. My previous house was using INOVAR laminates in the kitchen and we kept it for almost 8 years before we sold off our apartment. No issue there...the water resistant property promised by the salesman really lived up to expectation. And yes, I agree with potat0 to use laminate with groove line in the kitchen. It was exactly what we chose and we couldn't tell any swelling at all (if any). The maid mopped the floor quite diligently everyday. Ceramic tiles with woodgrains are nice too, but the feeling is different. Ceramic is ceramic. I guess at the end of the day, it boils down to personal preference
  12. Hi,

Can u PM me your ID contact? Thanks!

  13. I'm so deeply depressed. The leakage saga is not solved yet. My super brainless neighbour above is willing to compensate $50 only and asked me to top up whatever difference if more than $50, or keep the change if it's less than $50. It was truly an insult and I was left speechless I checked with BCA and BCA suggested I contact STB (Strata Titles Board) who will act as law enforcer The problem is: application thru STB costs $500 and every hearing costs $300. Who's gonna bear this cost? I hv to pay upfront The cost of fixing the leakage from the numerous contractors I have searched so far is around $300 (the cheapest quote to date) I feel so "geram" and helpless. The MC of my condo cant do much...they tried to help me talk to the owner above and again the same answer was given abt the $50 compensation. I feel like choking her to death Any advice? Thanks
