Hi sugarkitty, I'm using a full-size dishwasher at the moment and also using Finish tablets. So far so good for the past 5 years. For compact dishwasher, perhaps it's better you use powder, or maybe find a way to cut your tablet into half, but I think it might be quite troublesome to have to cut it all the time.

Hi pangshuming, I'm also looking to purchase the same Miele items (washer, dryer, dishwasher). Did you manage to find somewhere that offers a direct discount? I went to Eldric Marketing's showroom at Centerpoint and they were able to offer their own store vouchers to offset other purchases but I did not ask in detail as I was just doing a preliminary research. That was a couple of months ago and I have yet to commit to my purchase until my reno begins. Not sure what is the situation now but you might want to give them a call. Good luck and do update here if you manage to find a good Miele deal elsewhere!

I saw on this ID's blog quite a few years ago (he seem to have closed the blog and moved to Facebook page), and was particularly intrigued by this HDB toilet concept that he has done up. Basically he hacked two back-to-back bathrooms and created a combined one with a luxurious feel. He also elevated one of the section to put a bathtub so you get this hotel feel. I know there are 2 shops selling in Sim Lim Square level 2. 1) Ladders & Hardware (#02-37 - just beside the blue carpark lift - correct lift if u take the lift from B1 carpark rear exit) 2) Avit Link (#02-66, just round the corner of the 'atrium' area, opposite Jia Ying Trading - it's actually very near to Ladders & Hardware)
