  4. Hi dan80, Sorry mind asking one question? Your floor is original from HDB? How is the quality like? Thanks for the help.
  5. I am kind of half - half ppl... .haha. Want to be practical and with small budget for reno. I understand the quality of standard items from 'older' HDB flat is nothing to shout about so I m not sure if there is improvement over these years. Otherwise after spent the $ still need to redo later... Thanks again!
  6. Thanks for the comment. So it is not so much of the quality issue rather than the home design concept? For example the floor colour doesn't match your whole theme? Cheers!
  7. Hi there... Long time since I last posted here and asked questions. Lately I came back to read so many beautifully done home again. Really well done! I have a question here as I am about to go for my new flat selection. There is a Optional Component Scheme (OCS) in the Sales Doc. The OCS has 2 portions; - Flooring for living/dinning n bedrooms, $5K - Doors and sanitary fittings fr bathrooms,$3.52K May I know based on all the bros and sis experience, how is the quality of these items? Worth the money? How many of you take this option? I apologize if someone already posted the same questions. Please point me to the page if possible. Thank you. Cheers :sport-smiley-018:
  8. Hi letting go an used set at $50 (negotiable) with all the hose, etc. as seen in photo. Collect at Bt Panjang area. Thank you.
  9. I shared my experience here; i also bought a ex ah long house but luckily never got paint splashed on door after I moved in. But i can see the door and even the letter box have marks of red paints. However I will suggest first thing to do is report to police (as precaution) and ask them to do more patrol at your block. Be prepared to sit out the first few years coz in my case i still have ah long letter posted to the ex-owner (after 2 years!). So my advice is DON'T open any letter (to the ex-owner)out of curiosity! Just throw away. Also there maybe letter from credit card company, debt collectors etc. Coz if the ex-onwer owe ah long, very likely he will also owe other bank, etc. I also want to add this point: The agent is hiding this fact on purpose (if not it will be very hard to sell this flat)! I am not sure you want to complaint to CASE as this is cearly a case of cheating I would say! But anyway, don't over worry. Pilice enforcement is very strong and ah long won't be so daring compare to last time! For me, i have the fear too when i first moved in... It takes time to settle in
  10. hi all the masters here please advice.... Mine is a resale flat, will get the key officially around 4 pm on tuesday 1st December. According to my mum, it is a 'good day'. However, i may be able to access the flat a few days before (current onwer should hv moved out by then and agreed to let me) to do cleaning and painting. My questions; 1) Do I do the ritual only on the official day? or the day i went to clean and paint? or do on both days? 2) The day I go in to clean and paint also need to be a 'good day'? 3) I read that we need to keep those offerings for 3 days BUT i can't wait as my mover will be moving my stuff the 2nd day (2nd December). So how?? A big THANK YOU in advanced for all your advice and comments. cheeers!
