juz to side track a bit here. anyone ever placed led strip behind their tv? I read a bit abt it n it help to lessen the strain of ur eyes when watchin tv in a dark rm. Tried to googled it, but very little info. Hope anyone familiar wif this. Thx.

well, mine is wall mount for front speakers, & yet they able to provide me wif the Monster cables. Hmm... Anyway, bro Vic, better hdmi cable? I googles online & found there no diff btw hdmi cables. Also, which subwoofer cable would u recommend? Thx! By da way, I only collect blu ray, so far only 3 movies: dark knight, batman begins & tf2. Heard Oppo 80 dun play DVD as gd as 83. Dats y I yet to buy any DVD.

same system as mine... hmm, but i bet u took all black huh. my 2 rears is white, by da way. find it more cool to have diff colors, make it less like a home-theater-in-a-box. wall mount? mine is fixed wif customised front brackets by KEC, so dat it wun be potruding too much... & also my lil' one wun be able to pull the wires and crash my speakers if it isnt wall mount...

Actually, b4 I bought 80, audio iconic actually compare it wif 83 for me... On their projector (dark knight). As I'm no videophile back then (I'm still no better now), I really can't see any major diff thru my naked eye. Basically, wat u trying to say, bro Vic is as long I'm happy wif my stuff, I shld let it be... Fengwei, I guess I'll stick to my 80. Sori, bro... Thx bro Vic.

thx 4 ur compliments.. its a free software called sweet home 3D. from there, juz enter ur home dimensions, & u r on ur way to designing ur very own 3D home. this is especially useful cuz i able to buy my fridge & stuff even b4 reno is done cuz the software puts everything into scale. dimensions are precise. another gd example is my sofa. Im able to place my virtual sofa in my room, & wif the dimensions, I know i can only afford a sofa wif a max length of 2.1m. cuz @ most time, we all purchase stuffs dat r juz too big, & only realise it when its in our home. *this program is for amateur only, like me. professional designers may laugh off @ this program.

oh, you need to download them.. i believe there an "import" function which enable u to import them from several linked website. gd luck!!

yea, we always have to compromise to meet our budget. If mine is unlimited, I will get mythos, wif svs sub.. Da list goes on & on... Anyway, went to grohe warehse sale... Up to 80% off!!! But way, way, way to ex. Only for da rich or for someone who spend more time in toilet than their bedroom. Interested in da rainshower, but cost $1.8k!! After discount from $2.7k. I rather use dat money to buy sofa & a bed..

well, 83 has it's own video upscaling. Also, onkyo 608 upscaling not as gd compared to onkyo 7xx series (which cost 1k++). @ least u get either one, 83 or onkyo 7xx to really enjoy every details of blu, & even DVD too.
