I saw a display one that have the speed controlling switch but I forgot to ask the salesman what if the remote control spoil. Yes, maintenance fees paid upfront already. But now because of the delay why should I pay and pay still cannot move in I called the Condo mgmt, they said the developer still handling the maintenance fees and haven't hand over to him. I will call the developer later to make noise.

Hi I just got my keys in Oct and this is my first condo. I would like to ask forummer for your advice. Not long after I got my keys, I lodged quite a number of defects to the developer. They have been slow in their progress of fixing the defects. Not sure if this is one of their tactics to make owners to give up in reporting more defects and accept the units as it is. They came and fixed some defects but they will create some new mess. So now after 1 mth, they still haven't fix major things like the dents on the flooring. I was advised that I can serve them a 14 days notice and if things still not done I can hire my own contractor to fix the defects. My question is ......... if this gonna to drag for 2 mths from the time I get my key, can I ask the developer to waive the mgmt fee ? I feel like paying for nothing since I can't move in yet to enjoy any of the facilities. Please advise. Thank you

Wah, I am so happy. Finally, I found an acrylic supporter. I intend to use acrylic as my study top. I like the"plastic-ky" yet solid look. Hahaha but dunno workable or not. Let my contractor crack his head lah. Then, I oso intend to use the rod & tube as a divider for my dining area. I saw the website that you list in one of the threat. Am really surprise they have acrylic mirror. But too bad oni comes in gold and silver color. Will try to think how I can incorporate this into my new house Best Regards !

Hi adrian_john, Guess you must be very busy with the unpacking and reorganising your stuff. This is one of the biggest headache with moving. Hi swordsman68, I am looking for ceiling fans for my new place. My current place is using Amasco Space II. So far very happy with Amasco. It's now still working fine after 8 yrs. I went to some shops and its seem everyone is recommending Crestar or Fanco. Nobody mention about Amasco fan. So did you get the Amasco fan ?

So trying to learning from forumers here. May I ask : (1) why do you laminate the bay window ? Is it bcos of evening sun? (2) and what the reason to overlay parquet flooring with laminate ? To protect it?? What do you use?

And frankly, I don't really know how to tell what is good workmanship or not. As long as the contractor dun give me prob and "chop" me like a carrot head then I am happy le. HAHAAHAHA, i like the idea of pouring a bucket of water....... will do that. But if there's 1 or 2 hollow parquet, will you call the contractor to come and fix? I find it very leceh cos I still have to be there to supervise them. After they are gone I have to re-check everything if there have created any scratches when they bring thier equipment in. Is very troublesome lah, but I oso very kiasu, if is worth doing and everyone is doing like this, I will oso follow.
